"Of course, I'm hungry!" Aurora was startled by Wilson's action at first but soon rested her head on his chest as if she was used to it and complained, "To come here and see you, I didn't even manage to have a meal in time, so I bought two tubs of ice cream, yet you won't even let me finish them."
She turned to look at the two tubs of ice cream on the table with a yearning gaze while she spoke. "Your tummy will be hurt if you have too much of that." Wilson turned his body to block her line of sight.
Aurora pouted and knew that he was right. Since she often consumed this type of cold food, she would suffer cramps and intense pain every time she had her period. However, there was nothing she could do about this. Whenever it came to things she liked, Aurora could not control herself at all.
The moment she started liking something, she would be drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Even if Aurora knew that it would lead to a bad outcome, she would be willing to endure whatever hardships might await her. "I'll eat less of such things in the future," she replied while nodding. Then, as she recalled that secretary's words from when she first arrived with him, Aurora figured that she had disturbed him, so she asked Apologetically, "Aren't you busy? You can just go back to your work first. Don't mind me. I'll watch you work from here."
"Those matters..." Wilson seemed distracted for a moment but then buried his face against her neck and muttered, "Of course, they're not as important as you." Aurora blushed at once. However, she began feeling rather uncomfortable when his hot breath hit the back of her ear.
She lifted her hand to push Wilson's head away, but when Aurora noticed his closed eyes and dark circles around them that made him look exhausted, a pang pierced her heart. Thus, she slowly released her grip on his face.
As Aurora began rubbing her eyes, she seemed to have forgotten that she still had makeup on her face. Thus, she ended up smearing her mascara and eye shadow. "Just let me sleep five minutes more?" Aurora replied softly and tried to act cute.
"No, eat something first before going back to sleep." Wilson rejected her request sternly because he knew that once he agreed to it, she would certainly ask for another five minutes more. Although he wanted to give in, Wilson was worried that Aurora might have an upset stomach after staying hungry for too long, so he had to put his foot down and say no.
"Ugh..." When she could not get what she wanted, Aurora became upset and rolled around as she thought that she had been sleeping in her own big bed. She nearly rolled off the sofa, but fortunately, Wilson had great reflexes and quickly caught her, so he managed to prevent a tragedy from happening.
Nonetheless, Aurora was thoroughly startled by what had just taken place. Her eyes grew wide, and she was unable to recover from her shock even after a long while. "It's okay. You didn't fall off the sofa," Wilson said helplessly when he saw the frightened look on her face. Aurora nodded absentmindedly and studied her surrounding. Finally, she remembered that she was in Wilson's office.
"Let's go wash your face to wake you up." Wilson pulled her into the bathroom and wet a towel with warm water then gently wipe her face. When Aurora looked into the mirror and saw her panda-like eyes, she blushed in surprise. She lifted her hand and glanced at it. As expected, there were still some eye shadow stains on her hand.
Then, when it occurred to her that she had been trying to act cute in front of Wilson while looking like this, her face turned beet red right away. "Hm?" As Wilson noticed how flushed her face was but did not know the reason behind it, he became somewhat worried and asked, "Are you feeling unwell?"
