Picking up the Pieces

Chapter 4

When I woke up two weeks later, my first thought for the day was," I wonder what Issac is doing today?" It made me smile and blush thinking about the Brit, yes over the two weeks that I have know Issac, we have gotten pretty close, I maybe had a tinny tiny crush on him, but I wasn't telling anyone. He made me feel happy and giddy inside and I really like that feeling a lot.

Today was the first day of school for me and I was a little scared, sure I had gone to school but back there I was quiet and I never talked to anybody, and I was slowly coming out of my shell with the help if the boys and the knowledge that Mark was now in jail and Mom now had custody of me, I still kept my last name though. I was brought out of my thoughts by a pounding on the door and a voice yelling, " Ash come on we gotta go so get your arse down here for some tea and eggs Benedict, " yep that's Issac, he is the only guy I know to use the words tea and Benedict.

Coming you bloody tosser," I yelled with a grin on my face mocking his sexy accent, yeah Issac was teaching me British words, and heard, " Oi!!! Don't call me a bloody tosser you wanker!!!" Issac yelled.

I giggled and nodded while saying, " Alright I won't call you a tosser as long as you don't call me a wanker alright?" " Alright but hurry or Tyler will eat you food and I won't stop him!!" He yelled and I heard foot steps walk down the stairs. I giggled and priced towards my closet, trying to pick what to wear.

I decided on some shorts and a lace shirt, a red tank to go with it, undergarments, gladiator sandals, and a couple of bracelets. With that done I went to take a shower.

After doing my business in the shower I walked out and put on my make up, a simple look of massacre, lip gloss, and little bit of base to cover up the still healing scares on my face from the incident. With that done I proceed to do my hair, I just put it in a high pony tail and parted my bangs to the right. Then I grabbed my phone, wallet, and money courtesy of Mom and walked out the door down the stairs.

I walked in to the kitchen to see Tyler sneakily trying to steal my food while Issac wasn't looking, I smirked and quietly walked over behind him before leaning down and whispering onto his ear, " I don't think so," and with a shriek, Tyler fell out of his chair before looking around wildly before spotting me with my hands on my hips laughing at him, along with every one else.

He pouted and i helped him up before saying, " Don't worry, your still my favorite," and he brightened up like a child on Christmas. I felt a hand tapping me and turned to see Issac with his hand out waiting, " Well?" he asked, I nodded and sat down before putting my hand out and we did our handshake, yeah we got a best friend hand shake!!!!.

With a smile shot towards as i sat down everyone I dug in and enjoyed my breakfast before getting up and brushing my teeth.

When i came back down everyone had their book bags and school stuff on their shoulders. I grabbed my brand new book bag from Jacks and we walked out the door to the trucks

Tyler, Arron and Scott were to go with Arron while Me, Issac, and Jackson were to go in Jackson's jeep. I waved towards Tyler, Scott and Arron, then hopped into the jeep passenger side.

10 min. later we were at school.

I saw a rush of people walking into the doors heading to class. I looked towards Jackson as he parked and cut the ignition, "Okay Ash, you will have a least one of us in every class you have except Economics and Math,but economics is the last class of the day so don't worry," i nodded and said, "Alright, but what happens when i get scared and i cant talk to you?"

Issac, who was sitting in the back put his head forward and said, "Just look at us and we will get you out of there OK love?" I nodded and heard the bell ring, "Now lets get to class," Jackson said and i nodded and took a deep breath...
