"Which one of you dumbasses kidnapped their brother?" Five asks. Everyone looks at each other. "We didn't kidnap him," Viktor says. "I say we bust in there, kick their asses, and get y/n back!" Klaus says. "It's not that easy, we need a plan." Five says. "I should've followed her.." Diego says. "It's not your fault, I shouldn't have yelled at her like that." Five says.

Time skip~ it's now been three days.

(The Sparrows pov)

I stand on the roof looking at the view, it's very pretty at night. The pretty stars surrounded the sky while the moon shined its bright light down on all of us. The refreshing wind slowed in my air, it was a perfect place to gather my thoughts. "Oh, sorry I didn't know you were up here. I'll go." Ben opens the door to leave but before he can I stop him. "No! It's okay, stay..." He smiles and slowly walks over. We both look at the view in silence for a few minutes until he finally breaks the silence. "When we kidnapped you fei used her crows to spy on you it's how we knew where you were. But we overheard your and Diego's argument. You won't have to answer but...what did number five say to make you so upset?" I take a deep breath before speaking. "He confirmed what I had feared all along. I and my family we were never really a family, my mom favored my sister, and...me and my sister found out that our mom had murdered our birth families. After we found out we became pretty distant from not only her but also each other. All I ever really wanted was a family and then I met the umbrella academy they weren't exactly family they all hated me except for three of them. It wasn't much of a family but it was something. But then five said something... he said something that he just can't take back. That's why I don't really care if you guys give me back or not, you guys have treated me better in just three days than anyone ever has in my whole life." Ben looks at me. I laugh to hide my pain. "Wow, I can't believe I just said all that." Ben shrugs. "I'm a good listener," he says. I smile. "Yeah...you are." "I know how you feel." "You do?" "Yeah, my family isn't all that close and perfect either. We're family but it feels like we're just a bunch of strangers living under the same roof. Everything is just photo shoots, competitions, action figures, and missions. We aren't a family, never have been. And then there's dad..." He says. We both look at each other. "It's funny, I've never talked about that with anyone before." "Me neither, I guess you're just easy to talk to," I say. He nods. I look back at the view and he does the same. The next morning I get dressed and go downstairs and sit next to Jayme for breakfast as usual. Ben walks in and sits on the other side of me. We all look at him confused. "What?" he asks. We all go back to our breakfast. "Can you pass the syrup?" Ben asks. I smile and pass it to him. "Thanks." "Mhm." the others exchange weird looks. After breakfast, we all head to the gym upstairs. I tried my best not to look at Ben but it was so hard not to. He was shirtless, sweaty and so hot...his- "Earth to Y/n?" Jayme says. "oh uh- sorry, what is it?" I say. "Wanna go to the movies later? There's this new movie and it looks so good." She asks. "Sure." I smile. "Why don't we all go?" Sloane says while smiling. "Yeah, when was the last time we all hung out together other than training?" Alphonso says. "Ages," Ben says. "So it's settled, we're all going," Sloane says. "I suppose..." Fei says. "What time is the movie?" Sloane asks "It's at four." Jayme says.

Time skip~

We arrive at the movies and grab our snacks and pick our seats. I sit next to Jayme and Ben sits on the other side of me. While we wait for the movie to start we all talk and mess around since the theater was pretty much empty except for like three other people. A creepy preview comes on and jayme seems freaked out, I turn invisible and speed behind her. As soon as there's a jumpscare I reveal myself. "Boo!" She jumps up and spills some of her popcorn. "Y/n! That's not funny!" She yells. We all laugh at her. I speed back to my seat and sit down. Ben high fives me while he's still cracking up. I dump my candy into my popcorn and mix it around and Ben looks at me weird. "Don't judge me." I laugh. "I'm not, I do that too." He shows me his bucket of popcorn and I chuckle. I take a sip of my side and look back at the screen, I can feel his eyes on me as I do so. I look at him from the corner of my eye and he is indeed staring. I look at him and he quickly turns his head back to the screen. I smile and do the same. Halfway through the movie, I feel Ben's arm wrap around my shoulders, I try my best to hide the smile trying to force itself on my lips. His other hand reaches into my popcorn bucket and steals one of my candies so I do the same and he chuckles. After the movie, we all decide to head to a small diner for milkshakes and dinner. As we all all laughed at something Fei said I feel Ben's foot rub my leg from across the table. I drink my milkshake to hide my smile hoping it isn't obvious how much I'm blushing right now. "What if you didnt go back?" Sloane says. "Huh?" "Yeah, what if you stayed with us? You hste it there anyway." Jayme says. "You'd be an awesome Sparrow." Alphonse says. I smile. "I dont know..." "Come on Y/n, i'll finally have the sister I've always wanted!" Jayme says earning blank stares from Sloane and fei. "No offense." Jayme says. "They'll hate me." "Font they already?" Ben says. I look down at my plate. "Alright, I'll stay." Everyone starts cheering. "Yesss!" Jayme says. After dinner we all head back to the academy. I lay on my bed reading a book I had picked out in their massive library. A few minutes later there's a knock at the door, I get off the bed and everyone is standing there smiling. I look at them confused and smile too. "Well, we decided since you're a Sparrow now you're gonna need all this." He hands me a bag with the Sparrows logo on it and inside there's a Sparrow uniform and a whole bunch of other merchandise. I smile. "Thank you." Jayme hugs me tightly. "Welcome to the Sparrows, roomie." She says. They all start walking away, as Ben turns to leave I grab his hand and he looks at me curiously. I hesitate for a moment but then step closer to him. "Is everything alri-" Before he can finish speaking I kiss him. He grabs my waist and pulls me closer, deepening the kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him inside my room kicking the door shut behind him without leaving his lips. Jayme and fei look at the now shut door in disgust. "Are they-" Fei begins but is cut off by Jayme. "I don't wanna know." Jayme gags and walks away.
