Gladys ended up getting ready to leave. He ordered a car to pick them up. They got in and got stuck into traffic 30 minutes into the ride.
About 45 minutes later, they arrived to their destination.
"We're over here by the stadium. I'm still mad that I didn't get Beyoncé tickets."
"You don't have to be mad anymore."
"What you mean?"
"You'll see" They walked into the stadium. He showed tickets. They started walking down to VIP.
"Really?!"
"Yes"
"Thank you. You're always doing something."
"That's because you don't require anything, so I want to give you everything. You were the only person that I had to lean on during chemo. We made a promise that if we survived, we were going to live life with no limits. You want to see Beyoncé, so we're here. Let's go and get us a drink before the show starts."
They went to go get them a drink.
*30 minutes later*
"Zac, I'm not talking to your mother anymore." Fatima said
"Why?"
"She went to go see Beyoncé without me. She looks happy as hell too and to top it off, she sitting right there. She put up a video of Beyoncé waving at her."
"Tima, is it really that deep?"
"You don't get it. You know that I love Beyoncé. We were just talking about it earlier and she said that she was upset because she didn't get tickets."
"Maybe she didn't get tickets. Maybe Joshua got them for her. He will make some shit happen for her."
"I don't even want to talk anymore. I feel like everybody playing in my face."
"Tima, be quiet"
"You've been telling me that since before I found out that I was pregnant. Why do you keep telling me to shut the fuck up?"
"Is that what you really hear when I tell you to be quiet?"
"Yes"
"We'll work on that. I've never told you to shut the fuck up. I just want you to take a few seconds to calm down, and that's why I tell you to be quiet. Is Beyoncé really that serious?"
"Yes, Beyoncé is my girl and I love her. I'm just disappointed that I couldn't see her. She got 3 shows here and all of them are sold out."
"I asked you did you want Beyoncé tickets and you sat on the couch and said no."
"You asked me when I was sick as hell. The answer is no to everything when I'm sick."
"Miracle!" He called. She walked down the stairs.
"Yes?"
"Do you like Beyoncé?"
"Yes and I know all the words to heated too. I watch the snippets of the shows on TikTok." Miracle said
"You want to go to her concert?"
"I wanted to, but everything was sold out. I was going to use my own card. I was going to get one for me and mommy."
"Awww Mimi. At least somebody thinks about me. Thank you."
"You're welcome mommy. I would've tried to get you a ticket daddy, but you like Durk and lil baby and they aren't on there."
"Me and legend are going to see Durk tomorrow after school. I copped them tickets quick."
