Final Author's Note

Can you believe once again we've reached this point? It's amazing that we've reached the end of the journey for the third story in the Convict Series. In all honesty when I first started the series in 2018 (it feels so long ago), it was just one simple idea that came to me and now it's turned into all of this. I remember the minute I completed The Officer I was already starting on this story and it took longer than expected but it's finally completed!!

I think in comparison to the first two stories this was definitely more complex to write. The ideas I had, how I wanted to write things out, all the characters, the setting, etc; by date so far this was the hardest to write. At one point  I had to take a break from writing because I had a mental block/lost motivation for a bit.

It was honestly a struggle because I love this series and I know a lot of you love it as well but I felt that if I wrote while I was in that state my work would have been shit and I would have regretted writing it. When I started writing it again, even though it took some time for chapters to come out I was just happy to be in a better mental space. 

It was bittersweet to write the last chapter, I thought it was going to be the second to last chapter but then I was like 'if I drag it out it'll be pointless and all good things have to come to an end at some point.' So it was sad writing the last chapter but was satisfied with how it tied everything together.

And let's not mention all the drama as usual when it comes to the series. You all know I love it when there's drama so to those of you who are like me and love reading drama in a story I hope it was what you were expecting. Natalia's character is one I loved writing though in comparison to the other two FMC, it was a challenge trying to write out when she could be vulnerable but also having the strong persona I wanted for her. 

I won't keep this long and I know you all are questioning 'will she write another story?' or 'when will she finally write a story about Rhett?', etc. When it comes to things like this best place to keep an eye out for that is my profile. Of course I think about these questions all the time but I don't want to ever give an answer I'm not sure about so I don't disappoint you all.

Anyways, thank you all for the love and support for the story and to new readers I hope you all love the story and the series.
