It was now Oct 2007, Carrie and Luke went for their first ultrasound to see how the baby is developing and to see if they can find out the gender of the baby.
Well, good morning Luke, Carrie let's get this ultrasound started and see what the baby looks like. Okay, this gel will be cold so just brace for it, raise your shirt up a little so I can rub this on your stomach. Well let's hear the the heartbeat of the baby. Sounds healthy and now let us see if we can find out what you are having.
IT'S A BOY....
Congrats on your baby he is healthy and strong but you need to eat a little diary and meat though Carrie so he can stay healthy I know you're vegan and don't eat diary or meat but you just need a little bit of both okay. Okay I think I can handle it for him.
Luke thought to himself wow, I'm going to have a son that I can take fishing, throw a football two, play basketball with, take him hunting and all kinds of stuff. I love you Carrie and I can't wait to meet our little man.
Carrie and Luke's families came to stay with them for a little while to visit and when they got back from the doctor they couldn't wait to tell them it was a boy.
So we found out what we are having and we couldn't wait to tell you guys that the baby is healthy and strong and that you can plan a baby shower for a boy, we having a boy.
