It was now 2010 and Carrie and Luke are expecting their second child in Aug. They are happy to be having another baby and can't wait for it to arrive.
Luke and Carrie's careers were taking off like fire and starting to blow up majorly. They were getting so popular that everyone was wanting Luke to open shows and Carrie was doing headlining tours that were majorly huge and big arenas.
Luke Bryan got his second fishing partner with the birth of son Tatum Christopher, who arrived a week earlier than planned at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday morning, Aug. 11, 2010 in Nashville.
Tate, as the couple plan to call him, weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz. and is 21 inches long.
"All I ever hoped for was one boy and to have two, it's going to be fun. I've already got new fishing spots picked out for us," Bryan, 34, tells us.
The singer called from his cell phone while at a local Sonic where he was picking up a lemon berry slush for wife Carrie, 27.
"I had planned to buy her a little present today but then the baby came early, so the slushie will have to do it for now," he explains with a laugh.
Tatum joins big brother Thomas 'Bo' Boyer, 2, at home. The couple states they will have more children in the future. They feel that God has blessed them with two healthy babies and they can't wait for him to bless them with more children.
