Gabe's POV
*******************
We reached The Potter's. I sighed. It was good seeing mom again. I felt Mrs. Potter rub my back.
"You'll see her soon. Promise." She walked up to the house, and i followed. I walking inside the cozy house, a body wrapped their arms around me, and my nose was buried into a cotton vest.
"Uh.. Remus.. Not to seem rude, but why are you hugging me?" I asked. "And how did you manage to get here in like.. An hour?"
"Well, you see." Remus said, scratching the back of his neck. "We-"
"ARE GOING TO TRAIN YOU FOR THE TRAIN!" James yelled. Remus shot him an annoyed look.
"Rude much?"
"As always my dear Moony." I rolled my eyes at their bickering. I tried to sneak past them while they quarrel, but James noticed.
"Oh no you don't!" He easily picked me up and place me on the couch. I tried to get back up, but Remus shoved me back down again. I pouted and crossed my arms.
"Now now, my dear Gabe!" I heard Sirius yell, coming down the stairs. "No need to fuss! It'll be over soon! Promise!" I loked up to him.
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
"But those are the best kind." I rolled my eyes.
"Why do I feel like that will be the ending of a movie in the future?" James asked.
Ignoring his comment, I tried to get up again, only to be shoved back down.
"ON WITH THE LESSON!" He whipped out his wand, and pointed towards a white board with little stick figures all over it, and a red box off to the side. But what stuck out was a stick figure with the words "newbie" written over it, and the stick figure had long black hair, and a pink bow. I raised an eyebrow at James and Sirius, who were bickering over who would 'teach' me first.
Remus looked over, and sat down next to me
"Yes?" Remus asked me, his voice laced with humor.
"Is that suppose to be me?" I asked, pointing to the stick figure. He let out a hearty laugh, and nodded.
"It was James' idea. Blame the bloke." I smirked and rolled my eyes.
"Well then get them to hurry up." I said, while resting my chin on my palm. He sighed and muttered,
"A task nearly impossible."
Sighing, I stood up, and left for the kitchen.
"And that's why- Gabe, where are you going?" James directed his words at me.
"A girls gotta eat, love." I said over my shoulder. Walking into the kitchen I grabbed an apple, and started looking through the cup boards for anything.
"There's nothing, how is there nothing?" I muttered.
"Because James and Sirius ate it all." Remus said, standing behind me.
I groaned and stomped back into the living room, and slumped on the couch.
"You two owe me food." I glared at the still bickering idiot boys. Sirius glanced at me, but still argued with James.
"Let's leave it up to the lady, shall we?" James said, with a small smirk. "Gabe, who would you want to teach you of the ins and outs of the train ride and hogwarts?"
Glancing between the two boys, a small idea popped in my head, of a way to get back at Sirius and James for eating all the food.
"I choose... Remus." Both boys jaws dropped, and changed their stares to Remus.
"I don't feel like moving, so I pick Prongs."
"Yes!" James screamed, the same time Sirius screamed "Moony!" A glare from both Sirius and I rested on Remus.
James shoved Sirius down onto the couch next to Remus, and all he did was pout and cross his arms, avoiding contact with him at all costs.
"Well, my dearest Gabriella," My glare hardened and switched to James. "Though, I am hurt that you didn't choose me, that doesn't excuse me teaching you." I rolled my eyes.
"Well, you won't learn anything , if you don't know the ropes." He took his wand and pointed it to the edge of the board. There were fellows wearing black robes with green stripes and ugly faces. "This is the Slytherin cabin. They are the worst sorts, so don't associate with them." A sour look rested on James' features.
Why doesn't he like Slytherins? Certainly not of all them can be bad, right?
James then pointed his wand to some girls with with very uneven pigtails, and yellow stripes on their black robes.
"Hufflepuffs are somewhat of a push overs, but they're really nice. Obviously, they're not as brave as us," James winked at Sirius, and Remus rolled his eyes. "But, they're pretty amazing."
"Amazing kissers too, huh, Moony?" Sirius nudged Remus, all past annoyance gone. I gagged, trying to get the image of Remus snogging a girl out of my mind.
"You would know, Padfoot." The boys bursted out laughing, and a smirk rested on Sirius' face.
"Anyways," I started, hoping James would pick up on my discomfort.
"Right," James started, as he pointed to boys in black and blue robes. "Ravenclaws are all brains. They're trust worthy, and good to talk to. But don't say anything stupid around them."
"Then how do you know anyone in that house then, James?" I asked, and a playful glare was given to me by James.
He then moved his wand to four boys in black and red robes, all with different looks and features. Figuring that the stick figures were the boys, I rolled my eyes when I saw myself in the middle of both black haired figures, though one had glasses and the other had longer hair.
"This is us. Stick with us, and you won't have any problems, we promise."
Nodding, I smiled at the boys lame attempt at trying to make me still their friend.
"The presentation is cute, really James, but I would prefer food rather than stick figures, honestly."
******
Hello loves. I've been working on this chapter for quite some time. If you haven't been reading LMBHM, I have had a lot of hard ships, and I am truly sorry I have not been able to get this chapter up sooner.
If anyone wants to design a cover for the story, go right ahead. I'm getting bored of the old photo.
I love each and every one of you guys.
Enjoy your night/day
Love
