Hello there! Thank you so much for choosing this story to read!! There will be slow up dates (sorry I have other stories and things to tend to) But thank you!!
" GET UP!!" My nine year old brother, John, yelled.
Groaning, I pulled the covers over my head. Hearing my door open, I moved the covers to see my four year old brother, Tommy, as well as his twin, Rosie, walk in. Feeling her Tom tug on my blankets, Rosie spoke.
"Brekky??"Breakfast... Joy
Rolling out of bed, I trudged down the stairs, and walked to the kitchen.
Wiping the sleep from my eyes, I noticed Mom clean up a mess, probably something baby Emma made, while John was screaming and running around the kitchen with Tredd, our greyhound dog, following him around the table. Dad was trying to calm Emma, and Tom and Rosie raced in from behind me to join the chaos.
Picking up Rosie, her twin stopped to stare at me. Mom was staring at me, looking exhausted like she has been, and Dad was looking grateful.
Feeling arms wrap around my calf, I looked down to see John hugging my leg with Tredd wagging his tail. Walking over to Dad, I kissed him goodbye and gave him his coffee.
Placing Rosie on the floor next to John, I picked Emma up from her seat.
"Go to bed Momma, I got this." Mom smiled warmly at me. "I'll bring you your breakfest in a while, go to bed please, you look so tired."
She looked at the Emma one last time and walked upstairs."Johnny, can you feed Tredd?Just two cup fulls of his food." He nodded and raced towards Tredd's food bowl.
"Rosie, can you go pick some yellow flowers for mommy? Tommy, will you pick some white ones?" They nodded excitingly running out the door to the flower garden.
Placing Emma down in her high chair.!I started wiping up the spilled pea mush. Finishing, I noticed Johnny staring at me. Walking to the cabinets, I grabbed a plastic vase and handed it to him.
"Will you please go fill this up with water?" He nodded and ran outside.Looking around, I saw Emma's teddy bear slumped on the ground. Picking it up, I brushed it off and handed her the bear, and she automatically shoved it in her mouth.
Giggling, I switched my gaze to the stove. Glowering at the stove, I wished a pot of eggs were already cooking so I wouldn't have to start.
Sighing at my silly thoughts, I turned to the flower garden. Tommy was picking the biggest white flowers while Rosie picked only small yellow ones. Hearing a popping noise, I quickly turned to Emma, hoping she was okay. Noticing that she was okay, I glanced around for the source, my eyes resting on the new skillet on the stove. Gasping at the sight, I subconsciously moved towards the pan, to see eggs cooking. Quickly grabbing a spactula to flip the eggs, I was left to my thoughts.
How??
Hearing the back door open, I turned to see Rosie and Tom placing the flowers on the table.
I at John as he came back with Tredd following him.
"It spilled a couple of times, so I had to refil it!!" He ran at me with a vase overflowing with water, and I bigger as he placed it in my hands.
Johnny-Boy is being good.
John is usually difficult to everyone, but he's being good.
Pouring some of the water out of the vase, I placed it next to the flowers, and grabbed a plate from the cupboards, placing it on the table.
