There she is.. walking towards him after a long crowded night. It wasn't such an unusual sight for the newly married couple to leave a hall together crowded with the highest classes in their societies and the richest of them as well, but it was their first time as a couple.
The prince reached his hand out to his wife, taking her to the amazing white, silver and golden cat which was decorated as her wishes pleased. In his mind that was the least he could do on such an unlikeable day for both making her wishes and dreams come true in her one and only wedding, well, almost all. He wasn't her true love there for this was the only wish of her wedding he couldn't possibly make true.
As the gentleman of a prince helped his wife into their cart, he noticed tears building into her eyes, his heart broke with sorrow for his lady, no, his princess. Hearing a fall of an object, he snapped out of his thoughts looking down to his feet, there it was, a slipper. He remembered hearing that in one of her books, 'and when her slipper fell, out he reached down to it and picked it up, placing it on her foot once again and looking up at her, that was so romantic' he remembered her say before and for the first time, getting on his knee and picking it up, wanting to recreate that romantic seen his princess adored and brought a smile to her lips. Prince Phillipe placed the slipper on his wife's foot, looking up at her after and giving her the softest smile witch was quite rare to see, but it did make her let out a soft giggle out of happiness and shut her eyes for the build up tears to run down her cheeks. Her soft giggle and pretty smile brought a light into his heart once again and so he focused his gaze on her for a second before he stood up and moved in with her into the cart, wiping away her tears before he sat down right across from her. "Do not cry Alice, I shall make you the happiest maiden to ever live in France. I might not love you as my wife but I shall always love you as the sister I never had." With these words he managed to brighten the smile on her face even more, her happiness came over all the fear, anxiousness, sadness and all other negative emotions she felt during their wedding.
Soon the carriage started moving Philip parted his lips in order to say something but paused for a moment before speaking "I shall arrange two beds in our bedroom.. that is if you don't want to share one of course." She moved her gaze up to his face, her amber eyes meeting his, she then closed them and shook her head, left, right then left again "I sure am fine with a shared bed next to you.. as it wouldn't be the first time we do so." He nodded his head "for sure, I shall arrange it to be to your liking." A smile appeared on her face before she nodded, soon enough they got the the harbor, Philip stepped out and took both her hands once she stood up and helped her down as a few porters uploaded the couples luggage on top of their ships and into their bedroom with the prince and his princess following behind them into a huge room, might be as big as a commoners house of two bedrooms and all their utilities. It was quite the dark room, a navy decorated room with dark flooring and an off blueish white walls. they walked in as the princess was surprised by not only the size of he bedroom only, but also of how much decoration and details there was in every inch of the bedroom. A soft and satisfied smile showed up on her face, or so the prince described it in his mind. They started by lighting the candles around the room up before closing the door. He held her hands and sat her down on her vanity chair, taking her slippers off and setting them aside before slowly putting her hair down, her waist long, wavy black hair, to him she was the prettiest ever, sometimes he thought to himself that if they weren't already arranged to marry each other he would've surely fallen in love with her, the fact , that he didn't that marriage wasn't hidden from anyone, in fact everyone knew about it, but it wasn't because of her, it was because of the fact that it was arranged when he wanted to fall in love with a beautiful lady that he could live with as his wife and not sister.
She looked back at him, wondering what he was thinking about while undoing her hair and gazing at her "Philip.. is everything going alright? You seem to be lost in your thoughts.. I do apologies for interrupting your thoughts.. I only wanted to make sure that you are alright and not sick." she spoke in a quite tone before raising up and holding her hands together while staring into the taller gentleman's hazel eyes as the light from the candles gave his brunette hair a golden like color...
