6. Butterflies

"Jisung do you wanna get ice cream with me" mere few words that Minho said as a step towards their friendship that had seemed to put jisung in a coma longer than that of his mom. Jisung was so shocked that he forgot to pick his jaw up from the ground, after staring at minho for 5 minutes jisung finally realized.

Panicking, he said "i would-like yeah ummm but like i don't know jeongin has tuition so we have to return. Right...Jeongin?" he turned around to find an empty amusement park, 'BRO WHAT THE FUCK' jisung screamed in his head.

"They left like 10 minutes ago" Minho said still unaware of jisung's situation. "follow me"

"ok!"

Lets go" Minho suggested as he walked towards the ice cream shop. The empty amusement park made 2 minute walking distance feel like eternity for jisung but to be honest he was doing pretty well on the outside he even dared to tell minho one of his dad jokes which was not well received by the other side, Jisung being jisung just guessed that Minho must be dad less too because why else wouldn't he laugh at a joke about how killing your own father is the ultimate therapy.

"Good Morning sir, what do you like to get?" a sweet old ladt greeted them at the ice cream shop, she welcomed them with a warm smile.

"Hello I would like a mint chocolate ice cream" minho said and looked at jisung with a expression that said 'bitch choose yours fast'.

"yeah right i will take a chocolate cone" jisung said. The sweet lady gave them their ice creams. Minho went ahead to find a bench under the tree's shade. Jisung soon followed him, he gently patted the bench signaling jisung to take a seat next to him. The younger sat on the literal edge of the bench just to be safe (he is very delusional).

The cold after breeze blew as it swiftly lifted jisung's soft locks in the air, the soft wind against his face was making him fall asleep, the chocolate ice cream was slowly starting to melt but jisung was just lost in thought. Thoughts of this moment, thoughts of how the ice cream was ten times sweeter than it has ever been, thoughts of Minho. Jisung yet once again was staring at Minho with sparkling eyes.

"I know I'm handsome but don't stare at me too much you will be blinded by my brightness" Minho said without looking at jisung's direction.

"If you know you're handsome then let me stare for a little longer" jisung said unfazed before a bulldozer shattered his confidence with reality,

"Wait that's not what i meant" jisung said panicking with realization

"So I'm not handsome huh?" Minho teasingly asked

"oh no you are very handsome in fact the most gorgeous person i have ever seen, if i could just Ugh you know .....hehe"

Silence all you could hear inside the vast amusement park was silence. Pure silence. Minho came closer to jisung, there face almost touching. Eye to eye, chest to chest.

"you could just what?" he asked as something flickered in his eyes, something strange that jisung couldn't figure out. It felt like hunger in his eyes.

"Umm...I COULD JUST BE BEST FRIENDS WITH YOU, YOU KNOW HAHA" jisung laughed so loudly he felt his organs jump.

"Oh I see ok" Minho said casually but jisung could hear the disappointment in his voice.

Jisung trying to relax the tensed up situation asked

"So what do your parents do?"

Minho tensed up suddenly, hearing those unfamiliar words. The cool look in his eyes changed to something else but jisung couldn't clearly see what, was it suspicion or fear? 'Bullshit why would minho ever think of me as weird for asking normal question' jisung said to himself after clearing that absurd thought.

"my father is a lawyer and my mother is a.... doctor. what about you?"

"We own a business" jisung replied

"Really what kind of?" all of a sudden minho got very interested

"Hotels and resorts, you know jade imperial franchises, we own that"

"wow so you're rich huh" minho asked loosing his interest

"not reall-" before jisung could complete his sentence, Minho randomly stood up

"Lets go on the ferries Wheel" Minho said as he saw the evening lights being lit up, he looked towards jisung who was sitting on the bench and offered his hand.

"sure lets go" Jisung said smilingly as he held Minho's hand.

"Two tickets please" Minho said at the ticket counter

"Let pay, you payed for the ice cream too" jisung interrupted.

"Its okay let me, i separated you from your friends this is the least i can do" minho said as he proceeded with the payment.

Jisung smiled as he felt his cheeks burning, 'am i blushing?"

"c'mon let's go" minho said breaking jisung's fantasy.

Slowly the wheel began to move just like the butterflies in jisung's stomach.

"Don't you think this amusement park is a bit weird?" jisung asked

"hmm how so?"

"I mean it is wednesday but still not even a single person, isn't it strange?" jisung asked curious to know the older's opinion.

"I mean its good, I don't like places and.." minho replied not looking at jisung

"and?"

"we can be alone."

Jisung felt the soft butterflies turn into angry month dying to break free, his cheeks were turning red from all the blushing, his heart started beating faster as every second passed by.

"I mean we haven't really talked since that day right?, and thank you for helping me" minho said finally looking at jisung.

Flustered jisung met Minho's eyes, "no need to say thanks, we are friends after all" he said giving minho a smile to die for.

"A friend? I am honored to be your friend jisung" minho said first time smiling through the day.

The smile did not help with jisung's heart or butterflies at all.

"Look the view's so pretty" jisung said pointing at the window

'You are prettier'

so how long as it been? hehe. I am so sorry guys I had the biggest writers block and plus my exams were going on too, so i wasn't able to update. But now that I'm back again I will try my best to update as soon as i can.

 And also sorry for the boring chapter I promise next one will be more interesting
