Brother's Best Friend/ Emilio Martinez

Chapter 1

Maisie's POV:

I woke up, with the sun shining in and had a quick glance at my phone to see the time. 6:30AM. As I sat up I decided I would check up on Facebook, to then realize the date, 10th June 2019, Oliver and his friend's are coming. I met Emilio and Ivan 2 years ago when my brother brought them home for the first time when I was 15 years old. and he was 16, this was after a exchange program he went on. I was looking through Instagram at this point when I heard my Mother franticly cleaning down stairs while also running around like a mad elephant would.

As i walked downstairs to check on my Mum she looked over at me; she looked at me worried like she was not going to be able to do everything she needed to around the house. I decided to ask if she needed any help at all which she replied saying 'Yes please. can you clean up all the rooms upstairs, this includes: Your room, Oliver's room, both Guest Room's, My room and the bathroom. but then Once you have done that could you please do some food shopping for me, if I leave the list on the side?' I Started to nod as she was going through the list.

I ran upstairs and into my room where I thought I would start, I went straight to my clean clothing on my Chair that I needed to put away and decided to straight away place these away, This took around 10 minutes which was not terrible for the amount of clothing I had put here around a week ago. I then went to make my bed which by surprise only took 2 Minutes, To then realize that I still needed to change my bin bag and Sweep my floor. after around 30 more Minutes I was finally done my room, I went into the spare rooms to check what they needed and only noticed that I needed to put Bedding onto the bed's, Place bin bag into bin's , put batteries into the Tv Remote's and finally sweep the floors this took me another 2 hours, 1 hour per room, while I finally went into Oliver's room and only to put bedding on his bed and change bin bag which took half an hour. I did check my mum's Room and realized that it did not need anything done and same with the bathroom. All together this took me around 3 and Half hours.

Right after I had finally done all this I noticed that my phone started to ring, It was Oliver:

E: Emilio I: Ivan O: Oliver M: Maisie

O: Hey little Sis..

M: Hey Oliver, what's up??

O: Just wondering how you and Mum are? I felt bad since I didn't get to check up on you yesterday due to being with Amelia and packing for today.

M: No your good, we are okay just very busy at the moment getting ready for you to come home finally. Mum must have not slept as she was pulling furniture out this morning and cleaning under and behind everything.

O: she does know she doesn't need to right?? it is only Me, Ivan and Emilio.

M: yeah lol, How is Ivan?

O: you can ask him, he want's to speak to you lol

I: Hey little one, how have you been? how is school?

M: HEY! I'm not a little one anymore, I am nearly 18 you know plus I don't go to School, I go to College and yeah it is really good thank you, I have made a new friend plus Charlie of course. He is still happy as ever with his boyfriend too.

I: OMG! That is amazing, sorry but your always be my little girl, Can't wait to see you...

M: Yeah? we should see about that lol, anyway how is your brother??

I: Wanna speak to him? he is right here?

M: Sure, I do miss him.

E: Who do you miss?

M: UMMMM, no one why??

E: Hmmm hmmm

M: Anyway, how are you? what you up to today?
