Mike jolted awake, he was dreaming but then suddenly the boy from yesterday appeared in his mind. He was breathing heavily and sweating a bit, he looked around the room then at his clock.

8:26 It read.

He tossed off the sheets and hopped out of bed. He started stretching, he looked down at himself and realized how tall he was starting to get.

He sighed, walking over to his closet and opening it to pull out baggy black jeans that were hand me downs, a white shirt, a red flannel, and some grey socks. He got changed quickly, he didn't bother to try and button up his red flannel, mostly because he thought it would make him look stupid.

Mike looked around for his converse, he spotted them and slipped the shoes on easily. Mike yawned and flung open his door, walking downstairs. He realized he forgot about his phone, he rushed back up and snatched it before running back downstairs again.

The raven haired boy walked into the kitchen, being met with the smell of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and biscuits. “Hey honey.” Karen greeted, a smile on her face. Mike waved in response and grabbed a plate.

He put some bacon and egg on there before going to sit down at the dining table, he saw his dad again and that instantly pissed him off.

Ted was holding a newspaper with a plate full of food in front of him, Mike rolled his eyes and sat down on the table. Karen put a fork next to him and everyone else's plates.

He picked it up and started poking at his food, not really feeling the need to eat right now. “Micheal, stop playing with your food.” Ted said from the other end of the table, Mike glared at him before he looked back down.

He started eating his food very quickly. “Jesus Mike, why are you in such a rush??” Nancy asked with amusement, eyeing him. “None of your business.” He answered snarky. She snickered a bit before eating her own food also.

After Mike finished he dashed up, running into the living room and snatching his bag. He rushed back down the stairs, swinging open the front door. “Your keys? Hello??” Nancy reminded him, dangling them in front of his face.

Mike scoffed and ripped them from her hand. He ran out the front door and really he didn't know why he was rushing. It's not like God would actually answer his prayer since he didn't believe in him anyways.

At his school

Mike walked inside the building, the sounds of lockers slamming and people screaming, giggling, laughing, and bullying overtook his hearing.

He looked around a little bit to try and spot his friend group that he always went with. But the thing is.. he was never able to follow the pattern that some of them had.

Max would either be waiting for him or in class, Lucas would be playing basketball or just y'know.. in class. Basically to cut it short most of them would either be doing something or in class. He could never tell. But luckily for him, he spotted the group in the hallway discussing about something.

He raised an eyebrow and walked over to them, “Hey guys!” Mike said, They all turned to him and he suddenly got super nervous. “Okay- what did I do???” He asked nervously, putting his hands up in a surrender pose.

Max started laughing, “Nothing, nothing. Sorry. It kinda seems like we're interrogating you.”

“BECAUSE WE ARE.” Dustin shouted.

Max shot a glare at him and he instantly lost his confidence after realizing he was being too loud. Mike laughed and put his hands inside his pockets, “So uhm, what are you gonna uh.. ask me?”
