When you started to come to you felt a throbbing pain towards the back of your head. Your vision was still blurry and you felt nauseous - it was then you realized you were gagged with something in your mouth and your hands were tied behind your back.

"Oh lookie here, someone's waking up."

You tried to make sense of your location and saw you were in a tent surrounded by a group of wizards. One of them walked towards you and kneeled down to meet your eyes. It was Biggins.

"Good, you're with us. Don't bother trying to leave, it's not going to work here."

You blinked a few times to try and clear up, but your head was still foggy, so you decided to just let your eyes rest for a moment longer.

"That's right...take it easy. He'll be here soon."

He? Oh no. No no.

You knew who he meant and you needed to leave. You moved your arms a bit but felt the bounds on your wrists.

"Now now, no need for struggling, you'll only hurt yourself."

Your breathing grew heavy as you started to panic. Your vision started to clear you when you heard him enter the tent.

"Biggins what in the bloody hell was so important you-"

He froze as he saw you on the floor bound like an animal.
You saw him squeeze his fists as his jaw clenched- he was fighting to compose himself.

"Biggins...what is the meaning of this?!"

"What does it look like? We found her wandering around the runes...she had this on her."

Biggins handed Rookwood the answer key you took from the Figs. He looked it over before shifting his gaze to you with furrowed eyebrows. It was small but you saw a slight pain in his eyes.

"Looks like she knows about the magic like we do-"

"Biggins what the FUCK is wrong with you?!" He shoved the paper onto his chest and then pointed at you. "Do you realize what you've done?! She is Hogwarts' golden child. Once they realize she's missing there will be hell to pay and we stand no chance against them!"

Biggins glanced between Rookwood and you, his expression gave away that he was suspicious of something.

"What's going on here? Since when did you care about children and Hogwarts -"

"-Since you've lost a percentage of my men chasing this magic you don't even understand! Now you've kidnapped a child before finding out what she actually Knows?! How STUPID can you be?!"

Biggins glared at Rookwood and fought back.

"She's been a menace and YOU refuse to put her down! Of COURSE she knows more than we think! Child or not she's the key." He crinkled the parchment in his hand and shook it. "She knows the runes- and when we found her touching one it glowed. It must have been her blood that activated it. We need her."

Rookwood glared at him before glancing over to you- Biggins walked closer and stared down at you almost sneering.

"If not her, maybe her blood."

This time you were the one glaring. Rookwood approached him from behind; he grabbed his shoulder and turned him around with such force you thought he'd fall over.

"Are you MAD?! Spilling her blood after I just told you who would come looking for us?! Let's say you kill her, then what?! How far does this go?!"

"FARTHER THAN YOU'VE EVER TAKEN US, ROOKWOOD! Some of the others agree, you have no right to lead the gang anymore. Your ambition is gone... But me? I crave that power. That greatness- and I'm going to take it."
