The rain had showered down on the umbrellas, pounding like drums in the dark, murky sky. It would sound naturally okay for anyone walking to a booth and settling down, but Phil,Dan,Marzia, and Felix had no umbrellas, and weren't even halfway across the maze-like parking lot.

Dan had spotted Felix and Marzia marching their way up to the front, with Felix looking confused and Marzia blushing as red as a tomato. "Oi!" Dan shouted across the parking lot. Luckily,Dan had caught their attention and had walked to the two. Phil was in his own little world at the time, and didn't notice that Dan had already left to the left side of the parking lot.

Phil had been thinking about something strange. His laptop had been acting up before they left. But all these thoughts were eliminated when Dan called Phil from the other side of the parking lot.

Phil ran fast, holding onto his llama hat and dodging attention. He made it to the three and shook hands with the bunch, and adjusted his hat. "Hey,sorry,I was just thinking..." Phil apologized. "About what?" Felix asked. "My computer has been acting up lately,Felix,do you know anything about fixing that?" Felix thought for a couple seconds. "Actually,I don't think my mouse being gone was the only problem..." Felix claimed.

"Wait, yeah!I remember! When I went to restart my laptop,it turned back on as suspected, but then for a split second, two letters had appeared on the screen and it shut off again." Felix said. Marzia began to blush.

"Strange," Dan said. "Mine had worked just fine." The rain began to be more violent, and the four ran to the top of the parking lot. There was a sign read on the side by the registration booth that read "VID CON CANCELED"

Marzia gasped. "They never said anything about a cancelation,no notifications, nothing!" Dan ranted. "But there's so many cars..were is everyone?" Felix asked.
The four looked around the parking lot, until Phil had pointed out a sea of colors on the sidewalk;umbrellas! "Guys, look." Phil pointed. It seemed as if Vid Con had never been canceled. "Then..that must mean something." Dan started. He walked back and forth on the concrete. "They probably didn't know it would be canceled either. It's like this 'cancel' has all been made visible split second." Dan said.

"C'mon, guys, let's get to the sidewalk. They have umbrellas," Phil said. The four ran across the parking lot,and all of their fans had been very excited to see them. The four signed autographs, shook hands, and met each other like Vid Con was never canceled.

"We have met all the fans, but were is everyone else?" Marzia asked. They turned around to see Zoe,Alfie,Tyler, and Troye standing right behind them, smiling with umbrellas.

"Our fans gave us these," Troye explained. The four were overly excited to see everyone and gave hugs and huddled under the colorful pink umbrellas. "So what were you guys doing up there? It had me worried!" Zoe Sugg,a young-hearted YouTuber, with the beauty guru styled make up and long, straight, golden brown hair, had asked. "We thought everyone was gone," Marzia said.

"You aren't the only ones," Alfie, Zoe's boyfriend started. "I checked my messages before we left, and there were no VidCon notifications." Dan's heart beat increased. "It's...insane.." He mumbled.

"We just payed the wifi bills yesterday," Anthony Padilla,a part of the duo Smosh said, sounding a bit panicked. "I can't even check my email!" He said.
"Guys!Calm down..."Tyler Oakley explained, with his vibrant pastel colored hair and his big glasses. "You have to remember that it is in bad weather,it is hard to get connection out here."

The group was quiet for a moment.
"Let's wait."
Troye said, setting his back pack down on the damp side walk. The fans were lined up and huddled together, under the colorful umbrellas.

"Hey...actually,now that I think about it.."
Tyler started, sounding awfully confused. Everyone stared.
"Why are we getting a storm in the middle of California?"

The silence was
painful, and the truth had left everyone in silence. "Gosh...I don't know..."
Phil said. The talking continued. Many of the people attending VidCon didn't live in the area.

"Let's go to the hotel," Dan said, looking down at the grass.
"We can sort everything out when we get to shelter." He continued, and the ten had left the side walk, and into the cars,to sort out and conversation were there was less rain.
