" Oh hey there" Shinah sat down by me on the couch with a big smile "I've ordered the cake and they agreed to do the most of deserts and pastries for tomorow"
"Thats good"
"Are you even listening to me?" She frowned
"Yes, Shinah I am ...." I sighed looking at her "I feel like over stressing yourself about the party"
"Its Valentinas first birthday without pedro being around, I want to make the party memorble so she wont realize him not being around" Her voice cracked a little at the end. I put my computer down on the centre table and pulled her in for a hug. She placed her head on my chest.
"You're gonna be fine yeah?" I whispered to her whiles stroking her hair.
"Adelio?"
"Hmmm?"
"But like...when will get a girl though" I kissed my teeth and pushed her head away from me.
"I just love how you express your love for me brother" She laughed loudly
"Get the fuck away from me" I glared at her. She got up from the couch still laughing.
"I'm going to my room"
" Whatever" I continued typing not looking at her. She squeezed my cheeks before going up the stairs giggling. I rolled my eyes as I heard heard her coming down the stairs not less than two seconds later.
"oh my god enzo help me"
"What is it again" I sighed.
"My room" She whispered a panic stricken look on her face.
" I swear if it's some dump shit..." I got up from the couch and followed her up the stairs to her room. I went into her room as she stood in the doorway.
"What is it" I looked around her room, not seeing any harm
"There look" She pointed to the space beside her bed. Two big ass roaches were just crawling all over the place.
"Oh hell nah...you better find somebody else to do this shit" I backed away from her room.
"Dude" She grabbed my shirt sleeve " I can't sleep in my room if there things aren't dead"
"We'll that I ain't my problem.." I shrugged Just then on roach spread its wings and started flying around, heading right towards us.
"Shit" I wrenched my self free from her hold and run down the stairs.
Shinah let out a loud scream from upstairs " Adelio stronza del cazzo, mamma lo verrà a sapere.

"Vale, Valentina, where are you? You win okay, come out and eat amore"
We were playing hide and seek so she could just have her damn dinner. Kids be really tweaking these days, they gotta be pamper to eat too?. When I was young, ain't nobody had to tell you to eat, one look from my momma spoon sticking out her apron pocket had you wanting to eat the whole damn meal and the plate.
"I guess im gonna have all that yummy chicken nuggets for myself" I added.
"Chicken nuggets" A squeal came from under the kitchen table. She run to me then put her hands up indicating she wanted to picked up.
"Yes darling, chicken nuggets"
"You're going to be four tommorow bambina, what do you wish for" I pushed the hair out her face.
"For my papa to come back" She pouted.
"Your papa is watching you right now love" I said softly
"hes here" She bounced excitedly in my arms looking all around the kitchen.
"Yes tesoro, hes here but u cant find him, its like......"
"Dora the explorer?"
"Exactly,you stole the words right out of my mouth...you little smart girl" I squeezed her cheeks making her giggle.
"It sucks i cant find him" She said sadly her lips starting to wobble.
"Lets get you those chicken nuggets, yeah" I said trying to distract her
"Chicken nuggets" She squealed. I put her down on her chair and went to the kitchen to get her food. I sat by her as she ate, listening to her patiently as she told me about the new Dora episodes she has been watching.
"Whats wrong Vale? I thought you loved carrots" I asked, watching her separate the carrots from the other vegetables.
"Just not today" She scrunched her nose.
"Va bene, I wont force you to eat them. let me go wash the plate them we go sleep hmm?" I quickly went to the sink washed the plate and put it in the drainer.
"So what about going to bed now so you cant outshine the other girls like you always do" I said as I picked her up. She nodded her head excitedly making me laugh.
"I love you Lio" She said as she put her head on my shoulder, making my heart melt.
