It's been four days since Jennie's best friend died. I let her go home for a few days, to sort out the funeral and stuff. I told her that if she didn't come back, I would kill Lisa. Of course, I wasn't planning on actually doing it, but I needed her to come back.
She returned yesterday and couldn't even look at me. She walked right past me, like I wasn't even there. I kept thinking back to that night.
She was a wreck. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she held Mino in her arms. I felt so bad for her, I figured he was like a brother to her.Why do I even care? I should be happy she's not gonna irk me anymore. I kinda miss her annoying voice and her insults though..
Fuck it, I'm going to talk to her.
I went to her room and knocked softly. She didn't answer, so I pushed the door open and looked inside. Jennie was snuggled in her duvet, fast asleep. I quietly walked in, sitting down at the edge of her bed.
She looks so peaceful and content when she's sleeping
She was murmuring something and I couldn't make out what it was. She suddenly did something that startled me. She fucking giggled like a school girl.
That was kinda cute.
What the fuck? Did I iust call her cute?
"Fine, I won't kill her. Don't think I'll let her get away with breaking your heart so easily though, Matty.", she mumbled, clear enough for me to
hear.Matty? She's dreaming about Mino!
I frowned, trying to make out more of what she was saying. "Maybe I'll just punch her...why notttt?", she whined. "Okay, okay. You're lucky I love you." She smiled and I found myself smiling too. Her smile was just too contagious for me not to.
She was quiet for another few minutes. I sighed and got up to leave. "No...please.", she suddenly shouted. I quickly turned around, frowning. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, and she was sobbing into her duvet.
"Please don't leave me. Please, Mino.", she whispered, her voice wavering. I bit my lip, guilt flooding through me.
I walked over to her bedside table, grabbing a tissue. I gently wiped her tear stained cheeks, being careful not to wake her. "I'm sorry.", I whispered.
What the fuck am I doing?
I frowned, shaking my head and walked out of her room.
I need a fucking drink.
