(Two weeks later- First Period- Pre-Ap English)

This school year has been great so far. I have an A average in every one of my classes. I'm first chair in band. That's all I even need to be happy.

As always, I'm walking down the hall like a badass. I get to Ms. Hudson's room.
"Good morning." I greeted her. I know I'm her favorite already. I don't kiss her ass like she though I would and I do very well in her class.
"Morning." She said back. She has a really soft pretty voice. I love it.

Okay, okay. So I may just have a minor crush on my teacher, but I would never go for it! That's illegal! Although... I thought. Perhaps... no! No! What am I thinking!? Never! Never, never, never, ever, ever!

As soon as I walked into the room I looked at my desk and ahem there is a girl that I do not recognize in my seat.

*Clears throat* "Ahem. My seat is currently occupied by somebody I do not recognize." I said while standing over her while not stating it directly to her. "Oh. I'm sorry. I'm new I didn't know." She had told me without looking at me and slowly standing up while rapidly grabbing her bag. She sounded sort of scared. "Woah, calm down. I'm just joking with you. It's fine."
She stood up. "Sorry, I'll just stand here until the bell." She said while turning.

When she turned, her long blonde hair flipped which seemed like it happened really slowly like it happens in the movies. Her hair was wavy and really pretty. Then when she turned completely, I looked at her and, Wow. I thought to myself. She's beautiful. She has these eyes that seem impossible to take your eyes off of. They're blue, but not a regular blue; blue like a light ocean blue. She's skinny with curves, she has a great figure. Her voice was soft and light. I feel like I could listen to her talk for hours without getting tired of hearing her.

"Um. I'm Shannon Pierce." I said to her with an awkward tone in my voice.
"Ally Dawn." She said back to me.

The bell rang and I took a seat. Kate and I looked at each other. She could tell that I thought Ally was cute.

"Class, this is our new student, Ally Dawn. I expect you all to make her feel welcome. That is something I expect from all of you. I am keeping my expectations for all of you very high." Ms. Hudson said while looking at me with half a smile on her face. I chuckled under my breath a bit.
"Ally, you may sit in the empty seat behind Shannon here." Ms. Hudson told Ally while putting her hand on the desk behind mine.

Ms. Hudson walked back up to her board and picked up a marker and began to write.

"Equal rights." Ms. Hudson said while writing those words on the board. This topic is your essay for today. I want it turned in finished on Wednesday, as usual if it is incomplete, its an automatic twenty point deduction from your grade. Now equal rights has many things that fall under it; rights for different races, genders, ethnicities, etc. You may write about anything for equal rights."

*Ring*
There goes the bell dismissing us from first period.
"Shannon, Ally, I need to talk to you both." Ms. Hudson had said to us.
We then walked over to her desk.
"Yes ma'am?" I asked her wondering what she needed us for.
"Shannon. I want you to be Ally's guide for the day. Show her where her classes are, introduce her to people, be friendly."
"Okay no problem." I replied back to Ms. Hudson.
"Thank you very much."
"Yup."

"Okay, so what's next in your schedule?" I asked Ally.
"Art."
"Oh. Art. You're in the advanced class. Must be pretty good."
"I was good at my old school, but I don't know how well the kids draw here."
"Dalton High is know for their art program. Not just art, but the entire arts program. Like art, band, theatre, choir. You know. All that." I told her as I dropped her off at the art room.
"I'll see you after class." She said to me while I was turning around to get to band. I looked back, smiled and went on my way.

The day went on pretty quickly. I obviously introduced Ally to Kate first. Then we ate lunch and turns out she's really funny. Like she doesn't have to make a racist, sexist, or rude comment to get someone to laugh. She has a good sense of humor. Plus she's really nice too.

At the end of the day. I showed her where people wait for their parents, said bye to her, and Kate and I got into my car.
