I was sitting in my room trying to do my writing assignment, but I only wrote the introduction and my phone buzzed. I checked it and 'Kate' appeared on the screen.

I unlocked my phone and read: "Okay okay okay. Girl talk right now."
"Oh I love girl talk! I love it! Let's do it!" I replied.
"Don't be so sarcastic ya weiner."
"Ew. Weiners. Gross." I texted back laughing.
"Lol. Okay seriously tho. You like Ally. I could tell by the way you looked at her for the first time today in Ms. Hudson's."
Whatever, Ally's cute, but I don't like her like that. I just met her!
"You also thought that I had a crush on Ms. Hudson. I'm done talking about this. I really don't feel like it right now." I said back to her.

I picked up my violin and started playing scales because I was done talking about this. Then my phone buzzed twice.
Oh my God. She needs to calm her tits. For real. Pfft. Fucking interrupting my beautiful violin sound.
I picked up my phone and opened it. But Kate's picture didn't show up with "Kate" shown on the screen. Instead, it said "Ally".

"Hey."
"Its Ally."
"Hey." I replied back to her.
"So about that writing assignment from Hudson. I love the topic."
"Oh me too!"
"What are you writing about??"
"Gay rights for the LGBT community. You?" I wrote back hoping that she wouldn't ask if I was lesbian.
"Me too! I'm only doing that because it's such a big topic and I think I should be able to be married to a woman I love and so should anyone else from LGBT."

Holy fucking fuck! Ally Dawn is lesbian! I mean I kind of figured since today she was wearing a red flannel shirt unbuttoned with a black tank top underneath along with skinny jeans and converse... but still! My gaydar has never been right before!

"Oh. You're lesbian?" I asked.
"Yeah but don't tell anyone! My parents don't even know!"
"Oh I wouldn't tell anyone. Of course not."
"Okay thanks." Ally replied.
"Wait. Why did you tell me then?" I asked. I mean, if she didn't want anyone to find out, not that I'm one to spread secrets, but why tell me then?

Fifteen minutes passed by.
I checked my phone again. Fifty minutes now. Checked again. An hour and a half with no message. I fell asleep waiting.

STRAIGHT OFF THE PLANE TO A NEW HOTEL!
JUST TOUCHED DOWN YOU COULD NEVER TELL!

I jumped up and hit snooze on my alarm; 7:00am and went down to the kitchen and poured myself a bowl of Captain Crunch. I'm an only child and my mom leaves for work at 6:30 and my dad sleeps in until 8:00 so I eat breakfast alone every week day.
I pulled out my phone half way through my cereal.

No message.
