Inside the temple Rick and Achilles was very careful to where they was going with Achilles carry a torch and gun in his hand and Rick carries two of his guns. After what happen to them at Hamunaptra, and yes Achilles and the other two boys know because Rick told them so both of them was now ten times more alert of his surrounding when they all went exploring.

Achilles and Rick let out a scream as their sons, Alex and Xander appeared out of nowhere making the kids be knocked to the ground as they were not expecting there dads to scream.
