Sarahs POV
Lydia fell to her knees and her shaking hand reached towards Harry's now paling face. I saw her bite her lip like it would keep her from crying.
I wish this wasn't happening.
I wish I never went to the mall that day.
I wish I never made fun of that girl.
I just wish.
That's the problem with me I wish but I don't take action.
I'm not going to be that girl.
No midget is going to just waltz right in here and shoot someone. And not just any someone, my friend.
Not on my watch.
I could feel my heart quicken.
My eyes dilate.
I felt power, energy and I swiftly got up from my crouching position.
Everything was in slow motion as I walked towards the door.
Step
Step
St-oops I tripped over air.
Wiping off the 'dirt' I could feel everything go back to slow motion.
I pounded on the door.
"Hey!" I yelled.
I heard footsteps approach.
"What do you want?" I heard a groan.
"I want to get the hell out of here," I could hear people gasp.
"I want you to stop randomly killing people like this is some game," the door opened and this time a huge guy came towards me.
"I'm not scared of you, kill me. Fine. But if you think for one second that your people can just come in here and kill as they please you're wrong,"
I looked back on my friends. They are the ones I care about the most.
"Watch me," he smirked. He pulled out a gun and pointed it at the last person I wanted to be killed, Lydia.
"No!" I screaming I jumped in front of the gun but it was too late. I looked at Lydia clutching her stomach as she fell towards the ground.
"Lydia it's going to be ok, I love you so much and so did Harry. Harry loved you. Please just stay-" I was interrupted by Lydia grabbing onto my arm.
"Sarah," she coughed.
"Sarah wake up," she coughed some more.
"Sarah!" She screamed even louder. "Wake up!"
What?
"Sarah!"
Suddenly my eyes fluttered open. I was in a room. In a house just in the outskirts of LA.
Lydia's house.
It wasn't fancy because she wasn't really rich.
I was dreaming.
This whole thing was a dream.
A nightmare.
"Sarah," Lydia mumbled with her mouth filled with Doritos.
"You were sleeping for like 3 hours, we have to go to the concert in an hour,"
Concert?
That's right I remember now.
Flashback
I clutched onto my stomach. My period just ended and I always get the worst cramps after the stabbing.
"Sarah we have to get ready for 1D!" Lydia whined.
"I'm going to take a nap wake me up when we have an hour or so before," I mumbled plopping myself on her bed. Crap I'm going to have a weird complicated dream, it's the after-effects of my period craps medication. Well, it can't be that bad I wanna sleep.Wow. So I literally had a nightmare where I switched perspective and everything. Period medication is weird. I suddenly had an urge to hug Lydia.
"Ah, why are you touching me?"
"Cause I'm happy you're not kidnapped/dead,"
"Sarah you really need to stop taking those cramp medication," she chuckled.
"Now get ready we want to look out best for our future husbands, sadly only 4/5 will be there, Zayn will be missed," I nodded my head and walked towards Lydia's closet, still to my left all my clothes. This time it's just the clothes that I leave at her house. I pondered about what to wear until I saw a very familiar piece of clothing.
The black studded shorts.
I grinned. Slipping them on they fit like a charm. I put on my loose white-ish tank top and my black vans. I grabbed some sunglasses and put them on top of my head. Then I looked in the mirror. My hair was its natural strawberry ginger state. I still had no eyebrows but I was totally fine with that. My hair was in its obnoxious curls but at this moment in time, I didn't care. I really don't care what people think about me and I like who I am. So I'm just going to keep it that way. I walked back into Lydia's room and I saw her playing around with her short waves. I forgot she got it cut the other day to just her shoulder length. It looks good. She has natural beach waves so it really pulls off the look. She was wearing a pink tank top and washed out ripped shorts with pink flats. Grabbing a hammer she hit her piggy bank as hard as she could.
"A year's worth of saving paid off," she smirked as the money flowed out.
She organized the money and made sure she counted it.
"$567.63, final total," she grinned. I don't know why she had so much honestly we already got our super expensive tickets.
Front row.
Meet and greet.
Well, actually she won 2 tickets from a radio contest. But still, we get to meet them. It's kinda cool how they are our age. Kinda weird too. She grabbed her target purse in a rush as she stuffed the money and her phone inside along with the tickets.
"Mom we're leaving!" she yelled down the hallway. A head popped out of her parent's room and Mrs. Taylor rushed to hug us.
"Don't get kidnapped!" She warned while holding our faces. Lydia just rolled her eyes, if only she knew.
"Let's go!" Lydia yelled.
Well, this is going to be fun. I texted my mom and said we are leaving and she responded with a simple ok be safe. I locked my phone and put it in my back pocket along with my $20. I only wanted food so I don't need much. Lydia hopped into her ford escape, and started driving to the stadium. Let's do this.
