Hey Wattpad Wonders! Ok didn't know we're that came from. Don't think that just because Lydia is "safe" with Susanna's husband doesn't mean the whole drama is over yet. I have much more planed MAHAHAHAHAH!!! Plus this chapter is kind of a filler chapter it's mostly flashbacks just so you can fully understand who Josh is.
Anyways enjoy.....

Sarah's POV
Josh Parks?
Josh Parks.
I could tell it was him from his towering lean figure and his dirty blond hair.
Josh.
Someone who I haven't seen since I was 15 after he moved. Josh used to be Lydia and my neighbor who lived across the street from us.
"Hi, um Sarah said I should talk to you," I nodded my head while Joshie was looking down talking to my new best friend Lydia. Lydia picked her head up from her sidewalk chalk something she loved to do. Brushing off her hands she held one out to Joshie.
"I am Princess Lydia and you may kiss my hand," yeah she was pretty spoiled.
"Ew, I'm not going to kiss your hand you have cooties!"
"If you don't kiss my hand I will have to punch you with that same hand!"
Joshies nose crinkled as he puckered his lips and made a face like he was sucking on a lemon. He bent down and was about to kiss Lydia's hand until she flipped her hand over and he kissed her chalk.
"Gross!! Sarah!"
I just fell on the floor laughing.
"Now that you kissed my palm we have to get married. It's the rule!" Lydia scuffed.
"Ew, I don't even like you!"
"I have candy,"
"Fine. We can be friends,"
*5 years later*
"Arg Sarah! Why am I so young! I'm only ten yet I think I'm in love!"
I perked my head up as Lydia groaned. Josh and she got pretty close over the years I feel like he is pushing away from me. Which makes me hate Lydia just a little bit. She has gotten very annoying. For example patting my head and calling me young because I'm still 9 while she is "double digits". Big whoop. I'm still smarter than her.
"You're too young to love someone Lydia," I said while rolling my eyes.
"Am not! I'm older than you!" She yelled.
"You have always been older than me Lydia. You will never be younger than me. Although I act older than you,"
"What?! I'm way more mature!" She said while putting her Polly pockets away. Yeah, she was so much more mature than me. I stopped playing with those 4 years ago along with my other toys. I'm pretty mature for a nine year you could say but I'll play with Lydia mostly because she would start crying if I don't. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Lyd. Josh is at the door!" Ms. Taylor said. Which was weird because she is usually at work maybe someone is sick.
"Joshie! Hi!" She screamed while hugging him.
"Hey Dia!" He calls her Dia because everyone would call her Lyd so he thought the Dia would get left out. Weird I know but hey I call her Lydsies.
"Wanna go to the park?" He asked us.
"Sure!" We both said in illusion. I grabbed my black hoodie even though it was hot out. Lydia was wearing her blue short Jean shorts and a tortoise striped tank top. Her wavy brown hair made me jealous. I pulled on my curly ginger hair I got from my mom. I wish I had her hair.
*5 years more later*
((Lydia is 15
Sarah is 14
Josh is 16))
I straightened my messed up curls. My mom got me this straightener for my 14th birthday last week and I have been using it ever since, no more uncontrollable curls. I walked over to Lydia's mansion and looked at my outfit. I was still in the same style as when I was 9. Black pants, a white 'cool kids don't dance teeshirt', and my newest favorite my first pair of black converse, curtsy of Lydia. Nathan opened the door with his ps4 controller thing in his hand.
"Just come in I think Lydia is in the pool with Josh. I don't really care," he mumbled. I have never seen him off his video games before I guess that was just boys.
"Hi Sarah!" A preppy older voice said.
"Hey Bethany. Is Lydia in the pool?"
"Yep. With that special someone if ya know what I mean," she winked.
"What?" I asked. This is so not happening. I liked Josh. Like a lot. Of course, I never told him but I do. Lydia has liked Josh since she moved here. But I liked him since I moved here when I was 3!
"Ok, thanks!" I whispered. This is not happening. I walked towards the pool room and I saw it. Them. Hugging so tight. Lydia had happy tears in her eyes and I knew he just asked her out.
"Hey, guys what's up?" I said rather loud and put on a fake smile.
"Guess who is Joshies' new girlfriend?!" Lydia squealed.
"Jennifer Lawrence?" I said sarcastically.
"No me, silly, he just asked me out?! He is so romantic! I always told him it's so romantic when guys ask girls out in my fav place, the pool!" She screamed. Oh good for her. Not.
"Gosh, that's awesome!" I said shaken. Of course, he would fall for her not me.
"I know right!" She smirked while kissing him on the lips. Feeling like the third wheel I just left. They were...kissing. Gross. I mean it was just a peck but It was too much for me.
"Hey Sarah did you find them?" Bethany called.
"Erm yeah. I have to go!" I said while tears were filling my eyes. I found them alright.
*1 year later*
((Lydia 16
Sarah 15
Josh 17))
"Do you have to go?" Lydia whispered with tears falling from her eyes. A sight you don't see very often. Pure sadness.
"My dad got a new job in New York. I'm being forced. I promise I'll come back!" He whispered back while squeezing her into a hug. They were both crying. I, on the other hand, was not. Sure it's sad that my childhood friend is leaving us for good, and yes I'm saying for good, this "I'm going to come back" is a bunch of bull, but I wasn't super duper close to him as I was when I was really little. I just stared at the broken down couple. They were just hugging, wait what! He got down on one knee and gave her a ring?
"This is a promise ring. Ok. I'll come back to you," Lydia's right hand came to her face to try to hide her shock. The ring was beautiful, a silver knot.
"It represents what is happening right now. We are in a knot but when I come back on your 18th birthday and I will change it to a diamond," he blushed. Lydia wrapped her arms around him once more.
"Pinky promise?" She cried while holding out her pinky.
"Promise." He said while linking them together. They were crying. Still. This lasted for 5 more minutes until Josh's mom called him saying it was time to go into boarding. I gave him a wave goodbye as he literally had to rip Lydia off of him. She fell on the ground as the announcer said "LAST CALL FOR FLIGHT F13 NEW YORK"
"No," she whispered. "NO!"
.
.
.
She thought she would see him again but she never did. That ring has been off her finger for 3 years when he didn't show up for her 18th birthday. He broke his promise. She forgot about him.
