Chapter 4: The Clash with Alfonso

Maria saw a transparent floating board in front of her, displaying the words "Congratulations Miss Maria, you've been given The 'Princess of Time' system." She then asked, "Who are you really?"

The voice in her head had already disappeared, and the words on the board changed to say, "I am the God of Time. You can call me Father Time."

This made her happy and somewhat worried because, in her knowledge, gods are very dangerous. The words on the board changed again, saying, "Maria, grow stronger using this. Just say the word 'status,' and you'll know your strength. If you want others to see this, you can make them see it. Good luck."

She quickly said, "Thank you, Father Time."

The board then disappeared. After a while of resting, she said the word "status," and a different-sized board appeared in front of her, showing her status.

Description: Creates an invisible explosion of energy within a 2-meter radius around the host, with explosive power comparable to a nuclear bomb. It blows away anyone within the vicinity. Cooldown: 4 months.

Accelerate - Duration: 1.5 Sec.

Description: Able to speed up an item, body part, process, death, attack, and casting speed for a second. This skill has a 24-hour cooldown. Alternatively, the host can use lifespan as a medium, costing 1 Week L. The L cost will double with each use and only reset every month.

Instant Recovery - Duration: 2.7 Sec.
(Cost: 1 Month L/lifespan)
Description: Speeds up the healing process by a million times. It has no cooldown, but each use doubles the cost, which only resets every month.

Princess Time's Grace - Duration: 3 hours.
(Cost: 2000 M)
Description: Bestowed upon the host by Father Time, this skill makes the host a true princess of time for 3 hours, increasing their battle power threefold. It can only be used once every month.

Maria then clicked on the "Inventory" option.

Description: The host can borrow this item for 7 days in exchange for a month of lifespan. This weapon has a passive effect that slows down enemies with each hit. It is crafted from a Time Gate. Other effects are currently unknown.

Maria didn't know what a Time Gate was, but she felt that it was important, so she thanked Father Time once again. She didn't pay any attention to the question marks at all.

In the Realm of Time, before Maria opened the status bar, Jade suddenly had an idea. He said, "What if I gave her a weapon?"

Without a second thought, he looked around to find materials, but all he found were clocks.

"What should I do?" Jade wondered.

"There are no materials... Wait, what if I make a weapon using the clocks? Yes, that's it!"

Jade decided to take all the thumb-sized clocks and those smaller than his thumb, leaving behind the larger clocks. Using his reality-bending ability, he merged the clocks, creating a steampunk-style Rapier. He named it "Time Piercer."

As of now, Jade didn't know the true potential of the weapon he had made. However, he was grateful for his reality-bending ability. The numbers on his tattoo decreased from 999 years, 12 months, and 10 days to 960 years. He was shocked by the significant decrease, speculating that it was because he used his lifespan to create the weapon.

Maria then used the skill "Instant Recovery," and after saying the word, her leg quickly recovered. She sat there for a moment, and all of a sudden, the board appeared again, saying, "Congratulations, Miss host, for using a skill for the first time." The board's letter changed to "Miss host, you have unlocked the quest bar. Please click for more information."

Quest Reward: Skill Dragons Roar
Info: Dragon Roar - When the host thinks of triggering this skill, it will be casted. This skill emits a very loud roar, causing fear and confusion among weak creatures around the host.

In the Realm of Time, Jade decided to upgrade the system using the lifespan he acquired as a thank-you gift for his first apostle. His remaining lifespan now stood at 899 years.

Maria looked at the crazed frozen Alfonso with a smile. She took out the "Time Piercer" and slowly said, "Alfonso, that hurts a lot... hehe... let me get my revenge, okay!?"

Before time stopped, Aurora saw that Alfonso was going to kill her sister. She quickly used her mana and ran straight to the middle of the arena, destroying the barrier in a split second.

Back to Maria, she used the skill "Princess Time's Grace," activating her Dragon Bloodline. Aurora reached Maria's side, intending to defend her from Alfonso's attack. However, in that split second, she sensed an unbelievable amount of mana beside her.

Maria lost control over her body and unconsciously casted the skill "Blow," causing Aurora and Alfonso to be thrown against the arena walls. Alfonso lost consciousness, while Aurora managed to recover from the shock within just 3 seconds.

She looked at her sister Maria and was completely shocked. She saw...
