Hyunjin strides into the recording studio first, me hurrying behind him, while Changbin and Han sit behind the glass. "Ok-ay.." Han starts. "We'll do your main lines first, because Hyunjin already did the verse after this, so you've got the lyric sheets in front of you on the stands, so start with the 'Ain't nobody can do it like us' line and we'll go from there. I nod and we start.
'Ain't no-body can do it like us, hurry,
날 따라올람 멀었다,
we're not cocky'
Changbin winces slightly and says, "Drag out the 'hurry' and the 'cocky', it's way too clear, so drawl it out, like hurr-y and then coc-ky, if you get what I'm saying." Hyunjin nods, and we start again.
'Ain't no-body can do it like us, hurry,날 따라올람 멀었다 we're not cocky'
Han applauds, gesturing for I.N and Seungmin and Minho to come in. "Mkay Hyunjin, that's you done, so you can get your ass out of here." Hyunjin silently punches the air and says, "Y/N good luck with your boyfriend," and winks at me before walking out. "Kay Seungmin, you're starting with your, 'Drawing, I'm moulding' line then Lee Know's, I.N's and Y/N's shared lines. Seungmin, start now." Changbin says, while Seungmin begins.
'Drawing, I'm moulding, I'm rolling my waves yeah,I'm counting wins on the Grand Line,'
As soon as he finishes, Seungmin says, "Wait, I'll try it again, it didn't really sound nice," and Han gestures for him to start again, which happens twice before Seungmin is happy with his lines. "Lee Know, now your turn." - "Why are there so many English lyrics?" Lee Know groans, irritated, while repeating his and I.N's lines while his mood and volume decrease, stretching his arms behind his shoulders. I laugh, punching him. "Accept it Minho!" Seungmin laughs, almost amused. Changbin says, "Shut up kids, and Lee Know, start."
' 기준을 올리고 몰리는 모두가 brave,
But you can't pass me, I'm the Red Line,'
My jaw drops, as I say, "Minho I don't get why you're complaining, it's really good. Like dude, come on!" He rolls his eyes at me as Jeongin sits in silence until it's our turn. Bang Chan walks in as Minho runs over our lines and he says, "Jeongin-ah, get up and sing your heart out!" Chan jokes, as Han asks us to start.
'Just sing along, I'm dancing on the thin line,더 크게 더, 다 따라 부를TOPLINE, '
Han gestures for Seungmin to continue with his lines, then
'밤새도록, gon' play, I can do this all day,'
Han stops the recording before Chan yells, "CAUSE WE DON'T GIVE A FU-" Changbin side eyes Bang Chan, cracking a half hearted laugh from Jeongin. "Oh, by the way, Lee Know, you've got a mission with Y/N for tomorrow, this time you've got to just shoot down people in some basement then blow it up!" Chan smiles, brushing it off. My jaw drops. "Sorry, Chan-hyung, did you say EXPLODE?!"
Changbin rolls his eyes and says, "You'll talk about this later, just finish off your goddamn lines Lee Minho and Y/N." Minho groans, and finishes off with me,
' 우린 선을 그어, TOPLINE, 그 누가 감히 넘봐, TOP CLASS, 더 높이 쌓여가는,KARMA, (KARMA)'
We both hurry out of the studio once Han tells us to get out, Jeongin staying behind with Seungmin and Changbin. Once we're in the hallway, Lee Know says. "Christopher BangChan, explain what you just said to me."
"You heard me right!" Chan exclaims, always the happy leader. "..Any chance I can swap with Jeongin? I can't be arsed to see blood, it gives me the ick," Lee Know continues, a mental image forming in his brain of ash and blood. I blush lightly, punching Lee Know. Before Chan says anything, I quickly say, "Lee Know, I know you hate me but like Jeongin is perfectly fine without me for a bit-"
Chan cuts me off with, "Lee Know I know" and snickers. I look at him like a mother taunting a child, and Lee Know exclaims, "You know, I know, Lee Know! YEAAH!" I roll my eyes with all the sarcasm I can muster, and say, "Fine, but TOMORROW. I'm not going anywhere today, I feel lazy as hell." Lee Know quickly says, "Fine by me, I don't even wanna go."
Chan shrugs in approval and strides away, as I rush over to my dorm, collapsing in the chair and starting to binge random K-Dramas.
