Take place in the seventh generation, in a country where hierarchy was the primary rule.

Everyone is treated differently depending on their socioeconomic status, including this one woman who lived in poverty and had to work day and night for her parents and siblings.

While working, she learned about a cursed cave owner who will grant any of your wishes.

People would wish for wealth in the cave because it was said to grant all of their wishes. People claimed it was a lie, but every wish they prayed for came true. Following that, more people began to pray and worship the caves, until one woman intervened and brought everything to a halt.

Tired of living like that, she decided to go to the cave in the deep forest even though it would take her 4  hours just to get there.

At first, she received her wish as well.

She wishes she had more money, but it is never enough.

She desired immortality and the ability to rule the kingdom.

Her family was against her, but she persisted in coming to the cave to pray.

Although her wishes were never fulfilled, her family died every two months.

The death was caused by a heart attack.

And she never once attended their funeral.

She simply prayed to the caves every day, abandoning her family because of her greed.

On a winter day, after 5 years of never missing a visit to the caves, the caves granted her wish.

The caves performed a miracle by sending her more wealth in the form of a prince from the kingdom. They fell in love and went on with their lives.
Two years later, she gives birth to two newborns, who will help them maintain their rule over the kingdom.

As the baby grew to be five years old, she noticed a strange cold temperature and brought them to the cave to meet with the owner rather than the physician.

"Are they dying?" she inquired.

Seokjin grinned. "Why do you care if they die?" She abandons her family and leaves them to die, and Seokjin, the non-human creature or the same owner, does so in exchange for a payment.

"You can think of them as payment for your immortality," Seokjin continued.

"To grant you immortality, I had to cast a curse on your children. A frozen heart where their emotion would be within the limit and if exceeded, they would freeze and die. It's the rule of this world that I put them on for 7th generation"

She adored her children and provided for them admirably until she committed suicide a few years later after losing one of them.

The curse of immortality was lifted when she was unable to live for an extended period of time.

Even with such a heart-wrenching about a mother and her kids, someone was sacrificed on the cave owner's side, Seokjin who decided to put the curse on the 7th generation.

"Are you finished, Yeonjun?" That morning, a voice echoed throughout the house.

"Um, I am coming down," Yeonjun announced as he walked down the stairs to the breakfast room.

He noticed that all of his siblings had already sat at the table, ready to eat their breakfast.

Taehyun, one of Yeonjun's most despised siblings, teased him, "You are late again."
