Freedom (Hiatus)

Starting or ending a war?

Error woke up with a relaxed motion. He looked around to see the same dark castle he was used to. It felt unusually empty so he guessed everyone went to a mission.

He got up and seemed out the gang's hidden chocolate one by one. It was a game for them: like hide and seek, but with chocolate. They also had a point system for it since why not.

He took all the chocolate he found and put it in his inventory. He then left to his Anti-Void where everything was silent as can be.

"Hey Erry!"

"How was your day?"

"Need healing?"

The voices started offering their kind things like usual. He sighed, and turned all their offers down kindly. He smiled at them all and sat on his beanbag. He knew he couldn't see the voices, but they were 4th dimensional beings for Asgore's sake!

He started knitting a Sans he had seen in one of the AUs he was destroying before rudely being captured. He had the wings of a black swallowtail butterfly as arms, and a traditional Japanese piece of clothing on him. He looked gorgeous.

The puppet was done after a few hours and still no AU came. He did feel one of his strings tug which meant the gang needed him. He sighed as he sat up and opened a portal to their exact location.

***Hours before**

"Nightmare's gang is causing chaos again, Error escaped my custody and is destroying again. We need a plan to stop them."
Ink said with a frustrated tone as he slammed his fists onto the table.

Everyone in the room has started thinking of ways to stop the 'meaningless' chaos. Ink gritted his teeth before one of the Sanses, Sci, spoke up.

"We could ambush them and tire them out like you did with Error, right?"
He suggested.

"Great idea! How do we capture them though?"
Ink asked as he smiled at the idea.

"I think I have some sleeping pills. Sci, could you crush them into a sort of splash potion?"
Outer said, turning to Sci.

"I could, but it will take some hours. Untill then, Ink, you could make an AU for the fight."
Sci said taking the pills from Outer who was next seat to him.

"Could we make sure they wouldn't destroy the AU first?"
Suggested a sans as Ink only nodded at that.
"Alright then, all is settled. Everyone prepare for the big fight. Meeting dismissed"
Ink said as he went through a portal made of ink.

***Back to the present***

Error came through a portal to a seemingly empty au on soft grass with flowers everywhere. The gang was sitting on the field chatting before they noticed Error.

"Come here Error!"
Nightmare closed, happy but seemingly hurt by the little positivity.

He slowly walked up to them and sat down next to them. He looked around the seemingly empty field then back to Nightmare.

"Why'đ yøú c4ll m3?"
He asked smiling at the view.

"It's your birthday dummy! Did you already forget? We found this AU suitable enough for the celebration."
Nightmare said.

"Course' I førgot! Th4ts the last thing on my mínd Ñighty."
Error said with a squeak as a tentacle gently hit his skull.

He chuckled with a content smile and nudged Nightmare in response. Nightmare then tackle hugged him, and before they knew, they broke out into a playful fight.

Error's tail swinged with content. The rest of the gang was seemingly making flower crowns from the echo flowers mixed into the field.

Error swayed with his tail as he got onto all fours and transformed into a kitty. He then clinged to one of Nightmare's tentacles as he made his way to the others skull where he sat gracefully.

Nightmare laughed as he went back to the gang. They finished the flower crowns and set up a picnic. By this time Error was back into his half form. He did stay a cat since he felt too lazy to do anything.

He hummed as he took out his glasses. By the time he found them and out them on everyone was shoving gifts into his face. He laughed as he slowly backed away to get more space.

He thanked them all as he took the gifts and stored them into his inventory. He gave Nightmare another set of his strings as he used them all up.

"Guys look, a bunny!"
Killer exclaimed, shortly after chasing the said bunny.

Everyone just giggled and let Killer follow the bunny.

Big mistake.

Killer didn't come after a bit so they got worried and they all went to look for him. The sight wasn't pretty, Killer was bruised up and was circled by thousands of Sanses.

They dropped their flower crowns and got into position as they all attack on sync. They saw Ink standing in front so they protected Killer.

"Your meaningless chaos and negativity ends here, Bad Sanses!"
Ink yelled as he gripped his Broomie.

A fight broke out. Nightmare dodged every attack coming his way gracefully. Horror and Killer were of to the side as Error was protecting them. Horror was healing Killer.

***Cross' POV***

A wave of Sanses came as I gulped. I suddenly felt blue magic envelop my SOUL. I tried to break out but it was just too strong. I looked around to see ten Sanses surrounding me and using Blue magic.

My white SOUL turned red as I let X take over. The sudden change of magic stunned them enough so that they could escape.

They summoned their red knife as I watched to the side as a ghost. I winced when they took a few hits but stayed silent none the less.

"MAKE ROOM FOR ME, IM COMING IN!"
I screamed at X before entering our shared body, turning our SOUL to a half red half white.

Our magic combined was enough to kill off the Sanses which were copies. I thanked Chara as we went on to help Error.

He was having to dodge bones left and right. As I fought off a Fell sans I looked over to Nightmare and saw him and Horror having trouble.

Killer was healed and battling Color sans, the original. It was all chaos! This was supposed to be a birthday surprise for Error, not a fight.

I felt blue strings wrap around my SOUL and yank me out of the way of a gaster blaster. Seems like Error had the gang's SOUL's tied in one of his string cocoons as he helped them dodge. He himself wasn't looking great: he just got blasted by moving Nightmare.

Ink came from my back and I would've gotten knocked out if I didn't move out of the way. Or, well, if Error didn't move me out of the way.

I huffed as I was dodging another gaster blaster that was charging towards me. I heard coughing behind me as I looked to see-
