Chapter 6: The bump

Stefan's Pov:

What had just happened? Elena just started crying?!? Was Elena okay, Did someone die? Did someone hurt her?

None the less, this was crazy. I had to talk to Elena...

I decided to go and talk to Elena, so I went to her house and what I saw shocked me.

It was Elena and Damon? Why was Damon here, and why was Elena hugging him??? I Immediately got out of my car and ran up to Damon and Elena. "Elena, what is going on here?" At this point I was expecting her to give me an excuse or something but, that isn't what she did. "Look Stefan we need to talk." she said, plainly. "About what?" 

When I said this, Elena just took a deep breath and looked at Damon, like they had a secret they needed to tell me? "Elena this isn't a good idea." Damon said, "He's gonna find out eventually, so lets just get it out of the way now...?" I was so confused, what was happening, what were they keeping from me?

"Stefan, I'm pregnant.." Now at first I think I was a little shocked at first, but as she continued, it started to all make sense. "Stefan?" she says, looking at me probably wondering if I'm even still listening. "But then why is Damon here?" Elena just stared at me. I could tell she was hesitant to tell me the truth. 

"I slept with Damon..." As she says this, I feel anger build up inside me. I push Damon against the wall, "YOU SLEPT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND?!?"  Elena started to tear up, but at this point I just didn't care.

Elena's Pov: 

I watched as Stefan pushed Damon into the wall. "Stefan, stop!" Then Stefan let go of Damon and Damon just smirked. "Wait, so who is the father Elena?!?" 

He starts to scream at me, and that is when I couldn't hold back the tears. I just started sobbing. "Elena, I'm sorry...." And then Stefan hugged me. I gripped onto his t-shirt with all my power, and he just held me while I cried. "Stefan I'm Sorry!" I sob into Stefan's t-shirt and he just brushed my hair out of my face and hugged me.

At this point Damon had just left, and to be honest, I wasn't surprised. Honestly I just spent the rest of the night with Stefan, and I fell asleep in his arms. 

*THE NEXT DAY*

 I woke up in Stefan's arms, I just watched him for a minute. After a second I felt my stomach churn, I ran out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I was vomiting everywhere, and the next thing I know, Stefan is rubbing my back. Comforting me, Like he always does.

"Elena, we're gonna get through this okay?" Just hearing his sweet voice made everything okay. I took a deep breath and rested in his lap, while he comforted me.

Stefan suggested that I should get dressed, So I got my stuff and headed to the bathroom.  When I got to the bathroom, I dropped everything and gasped.

I HAD A BUMP. I was showing.....

When Stefan heard the gasp, he vamp sped over to me. "Elena, what's wrong?", "Stefan.... I'm showing...." I point to my stomach Stefan gasps. "Elena, Y-you have a bump..." He put his hands on my stomach and kissed my cheek. "Oh my god Elena, this is amazing!" I was very surprised about what Stefan said. This was amazing? But Stefan didn't even know if it was his?

"Stefan, how is this amazing?" I asked him, genuinely concerned. "Elena, this is our baby! Our baby is growing!". That is when it hit me, I had never really explained to Stefan that I don't know if he is the father. So I had to do it sooner, rather than later.

"Stefan.... We don't know if the baby is, well...." I was trying to explain to Stefan that the baby could possibly not be his. I won't lie, I really do wish the baby was Stefans. "Elena I know that the baby could possibly not be mine but, your my girlfriend, and you could possibly be pregnant with our child." He said as he caressed my stomach.

Stefan was actually happy, he was happy. And I was hoping that this wouldn't be the last time.
