Maria kept trying to avoid having to face Xavier at all times, it was awkward for them, ever since that night Xavier decided to stay out of the house as much as he could so that she can feel comfortable to stay in that place.

She felt scared trusting people at this point, she stopped talking to people as much as she used to, months go by and she was absolutely lost in what she found out but she decided to finish her studies in town then leave on her own as her 18th birthday was coming up and her graduation was in 3 months.

Her grades are slowly dropping, she barely ate, didn't have the motivation to do anything at all, but her main goal was to finish studying and thats it. She was never able to look Xavier in his eyes after what he told her. She felt scared of him, didn't know if she can feel safe around him or even trust him anymore.

Now that she knew what Xavier's work really is he would have meetings in his house and have to deal with tons of drug dealing that she was able to figure through all the people and packages coming in and out of the house.

Few hours till midnight making Maria finally to be legal, she decided to hit the club with a bunch of friends. As she was getting ready she put on some tight black skirt that covers half of her thighs with a glittery top to match the skirt, putting her hair up in a high ponytail then slides on some of her favorite red bottom heels. She looked hot. She stood there to admire her beauty for a good while

"Where are you? Everyone is waiting for you!" ~Alex

"Maria honey if you feel like not showing up at least let us know we don't want you to do something you don't want.." ~Celina

"God shut up both of you I'm on my way order me a good drink I got to get wasted today." ~Maria

Alex and Celina were maria's favorite couple they managed to stick around with her third wheeling the entire time but she didn't mind it because they were really good friends to her.

As Maria exits her room and heads down stairs she can hear a loud noise coming from the dining room, which unfortunately was right across of the stairs, she didn't want Xavier to see her leaving she wanted to remain mysterious with him but that plan was ruined when she had reached the last step of the stairs. The place goes silent all the sudden.

"Damn Xavier, didn't know you fuck with hot chicks" one of his men spat out, everyone looked at him with anger "speak about her one more time and I'll make sure to cut your tongue out." Xavier stated furiously, making his way out of his chair leaving the dining room and closing the door behind him, Maria acted unbothered and tried to make her way to the door. "Where are you going?" Making her stop and turn around to face him "Incase you have forgotten my birthday is tomorrow and I'm going out to celebrate is there a problem with that?" She replied with smirk and coldness in her voice, he never saw her looking...this hot. "Before you leave wait here for a second" he goes back into the dining room grabs the guy who tried to talk about her.

"You sick son of a bitch apologize to what you said earlier" Xavier said making the guy shiver in his place "I- I am sorry I didn't know you were his-" Xavier interrupts him by pushing him back into the room, "enjoy your night, darling, if you need anything feel free to text me" giving her a smile then leaves to the dining room.

She felt disgusted by everyone around her and couldn't wait to leave as fast as she can. 25 minutes later she's standing outside the club and ready to blow some steam off. As she got in side the smell of alcohol was everywhere, reminded her of her alcoholic father, but she decided to shut her mind off and have fun. Scanning through the people she finds Celina pinned against the wall by Alex as the shared a good makeout.

"There they are, my favorite couple of all time" she interrupted their hot kiss, they looked surprised to see how good she looked "do me a favor and quit with your horny shit for this night PLEASE and lets all have fun" she gave them puppy eyes effect that makes them go crazy because they can never say no to her. They started laughing and approached a table filled with people she knows but was never close with. She just wanted to have fun regardless of who was there.

Xavier's POV

I can't stop thinking of how good she looked, she looked perfect, every inch of her looked good, those soft red lips of hers, the amazingly fitted body, every single thing looked so beautiful, she's like an angel who holds so much power. I can't believe I let her leave looking like that, I promised to look after her but she deserves to have fun.

I didn't pay a single attention for the rest of the meeting we had, I couldn't help but think about her and whether she is going to be okay or not.

I couldn't resist but call her, I left the room and tried to build up the confidence to call and ask if she is okay.

*line ringing*

"He-hello??" Maria was barely able to speak through the loud music in the background "Hey sweetheart, is everything going well?" I said trying not to sound very concerned "Ahaaa my dear Xavier you have no idea how much fun I'm having, I feel freeeee, but too bad you can't witness any of what's going on but just to let you know that blue suit you wore today makes you look hotter than ever I'm glad you're not my uncle but that doesn't mean I'm mad at you" this felt wrong, something feels very wrong, "Maria honey how much did you drink?" I got no response its just the loud music in the back "Maria where are you let me bring you home darling you don't seem well" she hung up on me, i was starting to panic unable to move from my place, for a second i really felt something bad is about to happen
