Chapter four.
A week later.
After nursing Isabella and changing her, marlena decided to lay down on the couch with her on her chest.
Marlena wait for john to get home.
Marlena fallen asleep on the couch.
Marlena woke a when Isabella started to cry for her next feeding.
John walked into the apartment and he heard is daughter cries.
John goes to the nursery and he saw marlena crying.
"Marlena?, Baby?, What's going on?.
John asked her.
I can't her down.
marlena told her husband.
John walked up to her and caressed her cheek.
Go have a relaxing bath and I'll try settle her down.
John told his wife.

Marlena said before she left the nursery.
John headed over to the crib.
"Hey, little girl, It's okay now, daddy's here.
John assured the unhappy infant as he picking her up.
John started to rock Isabella in is arms.
Seeing that Isabella was finally settling down john to get a pacifier out of her diaper bag.
"John slipping the pacifier in Isabella mouth.
Isabella kicked her leg happily and reached up to john as she suckling on the binky.
"Yeah, someone's a happy camper now, huh?, I think mommy needs a cuddle in the bath.
John whispered to Isabella.
John carried Isabella to the master bedroom.
John got undressed and then undressed Isabella before heading in to the bathroom.
Marlena lay in the bath, exhausted, but smiled, seeing her two favourite people in the the doorway
"Hi, You got Isabella calm, huh?.
Marlena asked her husband.
John nodded as he walked over to the tub snd he passing Isabella
to marlena.
Marlena moved up to make room for her husband.
John got in behind marlena and he looked over her shoulder at Isabella in her arms, as she sat comfortably between his legs.
Isabella started to nuzzle around and spat out her pacifier.
Finding her mother's breast and she started to suckle.
Guess she was hungry.
Marlena said to her husband.
Marlena nodded her head.
Waking up the next morning, marlena woke to find herself in john's warm embrace.
Marlena heard Isabella cries.
Reluctantly, marlena removed herself from John's arms and got up out of bed.
She heading over to the bassinet.
Marlena picked her daughter up ans she kissed her on the forehead.
Morning, my beautiful baby girl Breakfast time, huh?.
Marlena asked her daughter.
Marlena walked back to the bed and she Moving her pajama top for Isabella.
After marlena done feeding Isabella she but her in her bassinet.
Marlena want back to sleep.
Hours later.
John wake up from his sleep and
he saw his wife sound asleep.
John give marlena a kiss on the cheek.
Marlena's eyes slowly fluttered open and she looked up at john.
Hi, she greeted him in a nearly inaudible whisper.
"Hey, baby, Are you hungry?,
John said asked his wife.
"Yes, I am.
marlena told her husband.
I go cook something nice for you,
Get some sleep and I'll wake you for breakfast.
John told his wife as he ges up from the bed.
Isabella will be hungry again soon.
Marlena told her husband.
"Is there a bottle for him in the fridge?.
John asked his wife.
With her eyes drifting shut, marlena nodded.
Yeah, Marlena said
"Well I'll feed him, baby, Sleep, you're exhausted.
John told his wife.
"Thank you marlena whispered and she let sleep take over.
John walked over to the bassinet and he pick up Isabella in his arms.
John walks out from the bedroom and he shut the door behind him.
Laying in bed that night
marlena found herself unable to sleep.
Gently extracting herself from her husband's arms, marlena looked at the clock as she sat up.
It was only 2:18AM, Isabella would probably be hungry soon since she hadn't woken her up yet.
Getting up from the bed.
she approached the bassinet she found her newborn daughter still peacefully sleeping with a tiny closed fist on each side of her head.
Marlena leaned down in to the bassinet and she picked up her daughter.
Marlena took her husband before she went in to the nursery.
Belle finally woke up from her sleep and marlena nurse her as she sitting in the rocking chair.
The absence of his wife in his arms woke john quickly and he headed in to the nursery.
Hi, baby.
John said to marlena as he waking into the nursery.
Hi.
Marlena said to her husband.
Isabella was finished eating
marlena passed her to john and she fixed her top.
"Good job, kiddo.
John whispered, when Isabella released a burp.
Still sitting in the rocking chair, marlena watched john changed their daughter's diaper.
Marlena loved watching her husband and daughter together,
it was a beautiful sight.
John Giving marlena his hand,
Come on, gorgeous, let's go back to bed, John told her.
Marlena took his hand and she let him guide her back to bed.
Laying on his back, john had Isabella on his chest, sleeping, and marlena lay snuggled in to him with her head on his chest.
They fallen back to sleep.
