Grace knew how she was pregnant. She knew that she had the support of everyone. But she didn't know how to feel. She knew her head was a mess. But she knew she was so excited to start a family with Sami.
It hadn't always been easy. She and Sami had overcome a lot. Especially since Ste had turned into a jerk and started being rude to the Maalik family.
She knew that things were hard. She wanted to be a mum. But she was scared at the same time. She had to somehow believe that things were going to be okay.
She hadn't really talked to Ste in a while. Knowing she was still upset over everything that had happened. But she knew he was her family. And she had to make it work.
She hoped that when she had the baby, things would go back to how they used to. Before Tegan died and Ste blamed Misbah. Grace didn't blame her. She knew that no one else did.
Grace had been thinking about the baby a lot. She wanted to make sure that her baby didn't have a broken family. Not like how she did.
It wasn't always going to be easy. She knew that. But she was going to do all that she could to make it all work.
All she knew was that her life was changing. And she wasn't too sure on how she felt about it.
Morning came all too quickly. She groaned as she snuggled deeper into the duvet. She didn't want to get out of bed.
The door opened and Leela walked in. She smiled. "Hey you. Come on. Up you get," she said.
Grace groaned. "I'm an adult. Don't make me wake up before I'm ready. If I move, I may barf," she mumbled.
Leela rolled her eyes. She looked to her. "Don't be dramatic. I'm not dealing with it today. Ste is acting up again."
Grace rolled her eyes. "He's a big boy. Leave him to it," she said. She knew she was sick to death of Ste causing trouble.
She just wanted things to be simple again.

Grace walked through the village. She smiled as she saw Maya who looked to her. "How you feeling mama to be?" Maya asked.
Grace shrugged. "Hey listen. I know what happened with Esmè. But are you going to be okay? Being around this baby?" She asked.
Maya smiled and nodded. "I'm not that girl who goes loopy when her baby dies. I'm fine. I'm moving on. Will I miss having a glance at her now? Yeah. But she's at peace."
Grace nodded. She looked to her. "You're going to be okay. You know that right?"
"I know. How are you feeling about becoming a mum?" Maya asked as she looked to her.
"Scared. Excited. But I'm scared more than anything," Grace admitted as she looked to her.

Sami smiled as he pulled Grace into his arms. He kissed her and smiled. "I missed you. And I missed bump," he said as he held her close.
Grace grinned. "We missed you too."
The two of them kissed passionately. But would things work out between them? Especially when Ste and his friends created more chaos for them?
