Chapter 3

and my friend's story we are having
lots of fun writing it. It's crazy how

               Time flied while me and Nick were hanging out together. I was so excited to hang out with him more often as me and him planned to do. But, enough of thinking of the future fun times we will have together. Me and Nick were are hanging out in the kitchen where we are talking about random things.

"Hey Y/n/n?" he asked.

"Yeah Nick what is it?"

"Do you want to order some food for dinner?"

"Sure! I'm pretty hungry anyways."

"What do you want to eat?" he asked me. I thought for a minute but there were too many things to choose from. I'm a very indecisive person so I have no clue what I want for dinner.

"Um I don't really care what we get. Whatever you want." I responded. He nods his head and then turns towards the living room. I turn my head to see who he is about to talk to. I look over at the couch and see Chris sitting on the couch on his phone watching random tik toks.

" HEY! CHRIS WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR DINNER?!?" Nick screamed so Chris could hear him. Nick could be quite loud when he wants to be and his screams are so ear splitting.

"Umm I guess McDonalds, I really want some fries right now." Chris said from the other room. I also really want fries now, they are so good all the time.

"That sounds great! I'll have some fries and a cheeseburger please." I said towards Nick who had doordash out on his phone. Everyone adds what they want to the order. Nick got some chicken nuggets and fries, Matt got a large fry for himself, and Chris got the same things as me. A few minutes later our food gets to the house and me, Nick, and Chris get our stuff out and sit at the island with bar stools and start eating.

"Oh, I forgot to give Matt his food!" Nick says after about five minutes of eating. He gets out Matt's food and goes upstairs to give it to Matt who is in his room. While Nick is gone I realize that I probably need some napkins for my food. Lucky Nick had showed me around the house so I know where the napkins are. I get up and go to the cabinet to get some out. 

           As I'm reaching for the napkins I feel something behind me...or should I say someone. I could feel his warmth behind me, my hand freezes. I wonder why he is so close to me out of nowhere, his hand is reaching above me reaching for the higher cabinet. I turn my head to look up at his face trying to read his emotions. His blue eyes shifted to look at my face as I had turned my head. As his eyes were staring into mine, my face had turned a bright red as we made eye contact. His lips curl into a smirk as he sees my face even darken more. He then grabs a glass out of the cabinet, closes it and goes to the fridge to fill up the cup with water. I then grabbed the napkins and went to sit down again.

          I continued eating my delicious cheeseburger and fries. Chris comes and sits back next to me where he was before and continues eating. The room is silent as we both are eating our food. The awkward tension is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. But, luckily Nick is coming down the stairs he had just went up 5 minutes ago. He sits down with Chris and I and we all just start to talk about random things and even Chris is talking with us. This was the first time me and Chris have ever really talked since I had met him. All of the bad and angry energy just kind of floated away as we talked together and continued eating our delicious food.
