Chapter 3: Alive?

A note from the creator: Possibly the shortest chapter yet... sorry in advance

Bakugos pov: its been two days since we last saw izuku. We hear the occasional chatter amongst the gaurds, they talk about Izuku's health here and there. Hes alive, atleast thats the last ive heard. He hit his head so hard i dont know if he's gonna make it through this. Bastard.. i was supposed to surpass him. I was supposed to.. shit. I cant cry, not infront of these assholes.
They have us on a schedule.

7am is breakfast, usually a peice of burnt toast, and a scrambled egg with the more often than not egg shell piece in it.

7:30am if we didn't eat they take it away until dinner.

9am we are taken from our cells to a gym sort-of training area. We are there for 2 hours then we get taken to our cells again

3pm we get outside time, with work. They have us digging a hole in the side of a mountain outside their base. We stay digging until around 7pm.

7pm were thrown back in our cells with dinner. The dinner was always a half baked potato, and a slab of meat, either chicken or steak.

8pm they take the plates out of our cells if we refused to eat it they force us to.

9pm lights out...

Todoroki pov: bakugo refused to eat yesterday around dinner time. The chicken was still raw half cooked. The gaurd came in around 8pm and told bakugo to finish it. Bakugo never listens to anyone its no wonder he didnt listen to that gaurd. That just made matters worse... the gaurd tazed bakugo, made him eat the chicken. I tried stepping in just to be thrown across the cell. After bakugo finished that god awful meal, he was beat for disobedience. Atleast he got a good punch in. After that neither of us dared to disobey them. Not while we were this weak. Bakugo was left that night with broken ribs, a bruised torso from the kicking, a black eye and a nose bleed. I was left with bruised ribs, a black eye, and a sore back from being slammed into the wall.
NARRATOR POV:
for the following week the boys never batted an eye to do what was told of them, they were never taken in for a medical examination by the Tanner. They were left beaten and bruised and still forced to work hard labor that even the toughest men alive would have trouble doing. The gaurds were told not to discuss Izuku's health in the presence of the boys so they had no idea if he was even alive anymore.
WITH IZUKU: The week passed and Izuku felt like a freight train hit him in the head when he woke up. He was disoriented, confused, and frantic trying to find any way at all to get out of the room to find Bakugo and Todoroki. Amber was sitting in a corner like a worried mother next to her child in a hospital, dark circles under her eyes and barely awake. She was quickly snapped out of her half slumber, when Izuku fell on the floor next to the cracked open door. Amber jumped out of her chair and hustled over to Izuku to help him up, "Easy now, you've been out for a week now you're healed but your head might still hurt for awhile." Izuku felt cold hands wrap around his torso lifting him to his feet, "who- who are you?" He managed to muster out a small sentence. Amber just stared into his dark green eyes, she gave him no answer but wrapped his arm around her shoulder and walked him down the hall. They reached the cell where Todoroki and Bakugo were being kept, Amber signaled to the guard, he lifted his gun aimed at the boys. "IZUKU!" The boys yelled happy to see he was ok, happy tears filling there eyes. Izuku lifted his head a little at the sound of the boys yelling, and the safety clicking off on the guards gun, "W-Wait, dont.. dont shoot them! Please!" You could see the fear in Izuku's eyes as he registered the situation for the first time. *swoosh, swoosh* Bakugo and Todoroki fell to the floor, the gun was silent and filled with tranquilizers.
Izuku half screamed "Nooooo!" as his voice was weakened, "what did you do!?" He started to cry thinking his friends were dead.
"they're just tranqs kid your friends are fine" Amber told him as she opened the cell and sat Izuku on the bed. "Don't get me wrong dear, i don't like you, you and your friends are only alive so i can get my money. You're all to be sold in two weeks from now." She said in her villainous British accent. She left, locking the cell behind her. Izuku knelt down to check Todoroki's and Bakugo's pulse. They were stable, he took the tranq darts out of their chests and curled up into a ball on the floor inbetween them and fell asleep.
