Cyrus and I had talked all night I never hung up the phone once. He had fell asleep eventually but I stayed on the line. Cyrus was my best friend, Reed and Lester were also my best friends but Cyrus, he was different. I wanted him to be more than that forever, I never wanted to let him go. I always want him by my side.

~Morning~

Cyrus pov
School let in around 9 so I woke up at 8 everyday. Tj and I were on facetime all night, so when I woke up I just saw him brushing his teeth. He had stuff in his mouth so he just waved. 'Hi Teej' I say quietly with a smile. 'Hi Cyrus' he finally says back.

'You going to get me a muffin today?' I ask it was a joke but I really wanted a muffin. 'I can get you anything today and bring it back to you at lunch' he tells me. Anything? I was always hungry. The school lunch was shity. 'Anything?' I question. 'I could get you something from that small cafe down the street'.

'Yes please' I say.

~time skip to lunch~
Cyrus pov
'Hi guys' I say sitting down at the table. My voice was less loud today. I didn't feel like I had to be heard. Talking with Tj made me realize I can speak quieter and people will still hear me. 'You okay Cy?' Buffy asks.

'Yeah I just realized I don't have to talk as loud as I used to you know' Buffy just shrugs. She doesn't get it. That's good though. 'How has life been?' I ask them, I really wanted to know, I never ask how they're doing.

'Oh no, Cyrus are you going crazy because you didn't have your daily muffin' Andi says. I shake my head and laugh, 'No but I will if it doesn't arrive soon' I say.

'Cy guy you wanna go to the fair this weekend with me' Jonah asks me. I hate that nickname but that's not what I was focusing on. I was already going, well we were and didn't invite Jonah. 'Sorry Jonah I can't I'm already going' I tell him I kind of felt bad until I see Tj at the entrance with my food.

'Stop everyone pretend we are talking about something super fun' I say as I see Tj about to sit at our table. 'Hey Cyrus' Tj whispers to me as his arm wraps around my shoulder. 'Hi Teej' I say with a sigh of relief. 'I got you a chocolate chocolate chip muffin' he tells me.

'What's in the cup?' I ask. 'What do you want to be in the cup?' He replies. 'That drink you wanted me to try but I thought it was going to be nasty until I drink out of your cup' I say. He switches our cups swiftly. 'You already have a straw in your cup though?'.

'I know but you want this one' a smile plants on my face. 'Thanks' I say taking the muffin out my bag. 'Uh hey guys' Tj greets my friends. 'So you didn't ask us if we wanted anything' Buffy scoffs.

'I already invited you to the fair what more do you want me to do' Tj rolls his eyes. 'Um yeah' I choke on my muffin trying to say that. 'Sorry Jonah.

'Okay I'm about to head out, I'm gonna see you later?' He asks. My eyes widen, 'uh yeah just pick me up from the front of the school' he nods and leaves.

'Ok what the fuck was that?!' Buffy says. 'It was nothing' I say shyly. 'It seemed very lovey dovey to me'.

'Okay maybe a little. I will keep y'all updated'
