*ian gon lie I'm tied of naming my chapters, I be running out 🤣

Char

Opening up the door to my 2 bedroom apartment, I stopped for a minute takin' a breath in from my home. "Lawd, I never been so grateful to be homee!" I yelled after I shut the door.

I put my dance bag down &' took my shoes as I began to prepare myself for another self care night after workin' hard at the dance studio.

Being a dancer is hard but being a plus size dancer is even harder! So many obstacles got in my way, I'd be lying if I say shit wasn't tough...but ain't nothing too tough for me. When I was told by girls who was less thicker than me that I wasn't gon make the dance line in high school, I turned up &' showed them I could. When girls on the dance team in college used to say "She too fat to be captain of the dance line!" I was the same face of being captain of the squad for two year in a row. When niggas used to say, "You too fat to catch a nigga!" They would be the same niggas who got caught in my inbox on messenger. Anything a bitch or nigga had to say against me I showed them the damn opposite &' made them eat they words.

Going to my room stripping out my sweaty ass clothes, I sighed in relief as my bare body took in the breeze from the AC that I had on 72. "Ian never felt so free in my life." I got my three rags, my strawberry pound cake shower gel, a new razor, shower cap &' headed to my bathroom.

Turning the water on medium heat, I was definitely in the mood for some music to make me feel even more relaxed. "Alexa play Summer Walker Constant BS."

"Playing Constant BS by Summer Walker." I stepped into the shower letting the water and the music run all over me.

Now I'm tryna make them same haters eat some more words by attempting to break out into the dancing world. I only went viral twice on Tiktok &' Instagram so I guess I can say I'm pretty known. Dancing came to be an out let of my introverted shell I had at 13. I never knew I could dance 'til then &' the way I found out I will never forget. Let's just say don't be the quiet kid in school cause clout chasers will push you out in the middle of crowd at a school dance.

Preciate it Naomi!

After 15-20 minutes of being in the shower &' having a karaoke, I finally got out wrapping my towel around me as I headed to the sink to do my facial care. In the midst of putting my cleanser on my face thoroughly my phone started to ring through out the bathroom. I slightly slid the answer button due to cleanser still being on my hands, "Talk bitch."

"Un-uh, you answer me the right way bitch!" I met Layonna thru IG when she slid up on one of my viral videos, asking me to teach her how to do other dance moves beside shaking her ass. Every since then we always showed each other love from whenever she post photos from a recent photoshoot to when I post a clip of me dancing in the studio. Linking up with her only brought us closer than I thought.

"Layonna Gertrude-"

"Chill out, Chariae. You know I hate my middle name, don't play with me!" I laughed as I wiped the cleanser off my face thoroughly. "So listen, Issa party tonight &' you ain't popped out in a while, sooo?"

I looked at my phone with a knowing smirk on my face. "You need me to come turn the party up?"

"No as my friend I want you to come get on yo ass with me but yes you being the entertainer you are I would love for you to bring ya ass shaking moves with ya cause I got a section!?"

I laughed wiping the remaining exfoliating scrub off my face, "Man, come get me Lay!"
