Complains and solutions

When you have a lot of animals, not every neighbor is going to be happy. Some might complain about noise or if you don't clean up immediately after them and others just want to complain. They don't care what they complain about, as long as they can make your day miserable they are happy. And most of the time that works great for them. They get what they want and can make someone else feel bad. But not with Jun or his partners. With Flo being anything but confrontational and Sam just being weird and a little shy, it's mostly Jun who does the talking. And he loves it. Jun is very extroverted and never shy of putting someone in their place if need be, his neighbors have a hard time making him feel bad. Particaly an older couple that lives across the street. Always complaining about something. Jun's pick-up truck was too loud, too big, and too ugly to be parked in front of the house, not enough plants in the front yard,  saying that Jun was way too young to own a house, him having too many piercings or tattoos and ofcourse him not having "real pets" and the three big Pride flags he has on display in the front yard all year around. To their unfortunate Jun doesn't care about other people and their opinion. He patiently listens to all complaints, smiles politely, and walks away. The newest complaint was about Jun bringing home a chicken. A live chicken Sam hat picked out at a pet store and chosen as their new best friend. The older gentleman came to Jun "Concerned" that the chicken might be too loud and leave all its droppings everywhere. Jun just told him to take any issues regarding the new chicken to Sam as they are going to take care of it. Being in his mid to late 80's the man isn't really a fan of Sam or them being non-binary. He thinks that if he or his wife got too close to Sam they would "Catch whatever disease made her like this" as they both insisted that Sam looked like a girl. Simply because the Day Sam moved in with Jun and Flo they were wearing a skirt and according to old people, only girls wear skirts.

With that being said and done Jun as usual went inside the house to go and greet all his snakes. The first Sanke to notice him being home is usually Pacco but today it was one of his ball pythons called Noodle. With only about 1.5 m in length, the snake isn't really big and loves to hide in every space he can fit into or just lay in the way hoping someone will trip over him and fall. If snakes can actually feel amusement this one would think of humans falling as hilarious. Maybe he does, maybe not, who knows? And by now Jun, Flo, and Sam just watch out for snakes in their way. So the chances of falling over a snake are getting smaller but they are never 0.

Another animal that was a little more happy than the others to see Jun be home was one of his leopard geckos. Jun's collection of these was about 14 animals. 10 females and 4 males. He wasn't breeding them at the start but now he's trying. But aside from the animals. Before Jun can make his way through the house and check on all animals he has to check on his partners. Sam holding their stuffed Bunny Wilbur while watching Maserunner wasn't the issue today. Flo on the other hand wasn't as happy as he should be. His stuffed Bunny Hoppi was insured. Apparently, one of the bearded dragons got mad and took that anger out on an unsupervised purple plush bunny. So Jun walked into his room to find Flo sobbing on the floor holding his bunny.

Sometimes having an emotional support stuffy can be a great thing, other times not. Both Sam and Flo are very dependent on the well-being of the corresponding bunny. So with Hoppi now missing a leg and his left eye no longer where it was Flo is beyond devastated. To his luck, Jun learned how to sew as a kid and is always there to help insured stuffys. It takes a little to find the right threat colors for the very light purple of the bunny but after Flo's approval of the color Jun is starting with sewing the missing leg back on.
