She let out a giggle and held something bright in her hand. That's when I realized what it was. Fire! How on earth was she holding fire in her hand? Unfortunately, I was soon distracted from the flame, however; the girl herself was beautiful. Her red and green hair tumbles down her shoulders, and her blue eyes reflected the fire perfectly. Unfortunately, I wasn't stealthy enough. She quickly extinguished the flame. "W-who's there...?" She said. She took a glance around the forest. Crap, I thought. I've been acknowledged. I wanted to make a run for the hills, but there's no way that was going to work. I started to sweat. What was I supposed to do? Just when she turned away and I thought I was safe, I accidentally stepped on a twig.
She stood up. "Show yourself or I burn you." As if I wasn't scared enough. I slowly turned around and put my hands in the air
"Fair enough, you got me." I had said to her. "Please, pay no attention to it."
She gave me a horrid scowl. "Oh, I'm paying attention to it. Who are you?"
Crap. "Nobody important. All you need to know is that we are both very alike with our... talents."
Her eyes lit up. "Really? You can control fire too?"
Now I had to back-track. "N-not fire, no. It's a bit more complicated than that." I would have to prove it to her. But first, have I even admitted my ability?
I can tamper with the control of physical matter. In simpler terms, I can move things with my mind. But, who was I to tell her that? We had only just met. To prove to her that I could do something amazing, so I summoned a flower from a nearby shrub and gave it to her. She smiled a little bit. "That's amazing," she had said. "You're the only other one like me."
