In the general's secret office, Lahore, General Kadir was sitting on his cushioned chair with his fingers pressing his forehead. He has been taking a lot of stress for a 50-year-old man. General had his phone on speaker with Williams on the line. "Sir, there are so many different witnesses as we dig into the case.", Williams said. "Don't take it like a case Williams for evidence. Find the person and kill him. I do not understand why there are so many random people coming out of nowhere all hunting for our missile which was supposed to be an underground operation."

"Sir, it all started with the mastermind of the missile. Aasim. He wants to patent the missile for himself since he created it all by himself. He did not have an extra team or support members. He didn't have much equipment either. He is street smart." "Shut up, Williams. I don't want to hear compliments about him. just kill him as fast as you can.", Kadir shouted. William understood he can't argue with the general right now. He was pretty much confused from the start since he felt the general was hiding something. "sir, it will take time. with my experience in the CIA, I haven't faced a case like this before. It will take time, sir." "No problem, Williams. It's just bothering me. Don't let him create further chaos. It's all on you." Kadir told.

"Understood, sir. I have to interrogate someone, sir. I will call later." Williams cut the call. The general fell back on his chair giving a tired sigh. *Aasim, Aasim, Aasim... everywhere I go his name creates chaos. What game is he playing? How is he involved?*. Stuck in his thoughts, the door's noise woke him up. His PA entered. "sir, the ex-ISI chief wants to meet you." "now? Bring him in." the former chief was a man with a huge physique and great status. The ISI was considered to be in the best form when they were under him. His face looked pale when he entered Kadir's office. "sir, what happened? What would you like to speak about?" "Sir, as a chief, I have faced many different situations but based on my analysis, I think this is related to a few strange cases during my time. I think it's happening again." "what are you saying, sir? You haven't had any operation failed." "I had one even though it wasn't considered a fail." "what do you want to say, sir? I don't get it" The chief sighed and asked, "Do you remember the Kedron case?" "yes, it was declared the killer had died off the cliff." "That's a mystery. When the car fell down the huge cliff, we found it on a river nearby with a small depth. When we went down to check the car, we couldn't find his body nearby and I still assume he is pretty much dead but something makes me feel someone is using his same pattern." Kadir looked thunderstruck at the chief."Go on, sir."

"the pattern of dates of all the raw agents dying was somewhat similar to this case. He would go in an increasing gap of days to kill every person. Chang died on the 12th of October, Abhinav died on the 14th of October, Ravi died on the 18th of October and tomorrow is going to be the 24th." Kadir was in a confused state of shock. "I cannot confirm any..." he just stopped as his phone notifications pinged. His whole body turned to stone. The chief wondered what was the message Kadir got. Kadir dialled the telephone and said, " I want our top agency to search all the cities around Karachi. It's time."

In the interrogation room, Karachi, Williams was sitting opposite Inaaya and playing with his knife on the table between them. Inaaya's legs were shaking and she was getting restless. The knife in William's hand was giving her a poignant reminder of everything that happened in the last two weeks. "you cannot threaten me while trying to interrogate me. What do you want?" Inaaya asked."your brother's death doesn't surprise me. Bad company causes a lot of problems. Now tell me where your friend Aasim is?" Williams asked with a straight face. "I don't know." Williams clapped his hands. The door beside opened. One man was holding Inaaya's daughter's hand and pushed her in. "MUMMY!!" she ran and hugged Inaaya.

"Hey, girl. Come here." Williams called. She went and stood next to him. Inaaya's face became despondent as soon as she saw her.

"do you have a life skills class in your school?"

"yes" her daughter replied. "then tell me what is right: if someone hits you and the teacher asks you what happened: you will tell her the truth or lie?" "I will tell the truth," she replied in a low voice to Williams. "good girl. Now go with that uncle. He will give you some cake until I finish speaking with your mom." She left the room. Williams turned his head to Inaaya.

"Now choose, your daughter or Aasim?" he asked.

Outside Aasim's house, Aasim and Omar were carrying the heavy missile into the jeep. Zoya was having a fun time watching them struggle. "where are you going to launch the missile?"Zoya questioned. " we will launch in the QUT headquarters launching pad. We don't have the resources to launch it." "What kind of missile you made, Aasim?" "This is like kind of a ballistic missile. we made it extremely lightweight but due to the damage, it could cause we have planned it as an air explosion. Since the gravitational force could be really high, we are using the QUT's launch tube since the missile should have a really high speed. It should be ensured that the container or canister is released once it reaches the highest point of it's trajectory. We will prepare for the launch in between the blind spots of the Indian and American spy satellites which is around 15 minutes. We will launch it right at the end of the time and the American satellite will get 3-D visuals of the blast. Then you know what happens." Aasim told.

"yes, America will lose trust in Pakistan and India will sign a contract with Pakistan for weapon development connecting their ties... but...While we are gone, this area might get caught. We can't return to wipe out all the evidence. Plus the place is always filled with people. They will call the police if they caught us because we are not doing it under the supervision of the government. We haven't even patented the weapon yet." "Don't worry about the patent right now. We can handle that later. As for the rest, I have it all planned. What do you say, Omar?" "Yeah, sure," Omar replied. Zoya was clueless when she saw both sharing wide grins at each other. All of them got into the jeep and sped.

Williams was hopping along the way like a little girl returning from school. He was so happy he finally got a breakthrough in this case. It was like a chess game. All he had to do was get the king and he did it. All of a sudden, a police officer came running and fell on him. "idiot, can't you..." "sir....the...there is something wrong in QUT headquarters?" the officer interrupted. "what happened?"

"We need the bomb squad."
