Caroline walked down the street towards The Mystic Grill, the popular hangout spot in town. She couldn't wait to meet up with her best friends, Bonnie and Elena, and catch up on everything that had been happening in their lives. As she approached the entrance, she noticed a figure lurking in the shadows.
Before she could react, Klaus appeared out of nowhere and grabbed her by the arm. Caroline screamed, but Klaus covered her mouth with his hand and dragged her into an alleyway.
"I've been waiting for this moment for so long," Klaus said, his breath hot on her neck. "I love you, Caroline, and I want you all to myself."
Caroline struggled against him, kicking and hitting him with all her might. But Klaus was too strong, and he held on tight.
"Don't fight me, Caroline," Klaus whispered in her ear. "Embrace your destiny as my queen, and I promise to treat you like the royalty you are."
Caroline's heart raced as she realized the gravity of her situation. She was trapped, alone, and at the mercy of a maniacal vampire who claimed to love her. What would become of her now?
