TRICIA's POV

"Trish? Tricia? PATRICIAAAA!" Aries repeatedly called to bring me back to my senses. And when I get to recover myself, I shook my head and massaged my temples. I think I'm getting a good amount of headache any minute now.

"I'm sorry. W-Where were we?"

Aries looked at me as if trying to figure out what happened.

"I was saying that the department directors have a meeting with Mr. Smith at 10AM today. The agenda is to discuss the sales of the year, the U.S Summit and the plan for next year."

I nodded absentmindedly. The U.S Summit, huh?

"Is that all?" I asked, not willing to show interest anymore.

"Well, in the morning, yes. But later, at 1PM, you have a lunch meeting at Holler's Restaurant with Ms. Tee."

I looked up at my assistant with confused expression. Tee? What does she need now?

"What? When was this scheduled? And why didn't I know about this?"

"Well, she said she was investing in the company and you told me that all investment applications were to be scheduled with no questions asked. Is there a problem? Should I cancel her appointment?" She asked, worried.

I let out a sigh. I haven't talked to any of my friends since Sky and I came back from the venue. It's been a week and I haven't slept well for that long and I know they're getting pissed because I'm disappearing off the face of the Earth again. But I'm still not sure if I should. But I also know that even if I refuse, Tee is just going to find other ways to fit herself into my schedule.

"No. It's alright. I'll be there for lunch. Thank you, Aries."

She nodded and left my office. I massaged my temple again and that day kept coming back to me.

*FLASHBACK*

As soon as our lips touched, I feel welcomed. I felt an ecstatic buzz in my heart that echoed through my ears the moment she started moaning between our kisses. Her lips were warm and soft as I could remember and they parted slightly, allowing my tongue to slip inside and I could taste our shared breath until I found our tongues tangled and went to war in our locked mouths, battling madly for dominance.

The moment and our feelings were heated, as if we're like lavas in a volcano that had just erupted after a long long time.

Our bodies pressed together against the warm, soft king sized bed. I can clearly feel the thud of our combined heartbeat all over my body. And as I fumbled to unbutton her shirt, she stopped kissing me. She stopped my hands and push me forcefully.

My heart suddenly stopped in disappointment when I realized what she meant.

'Of course, idiot! She's engaged!' I thought to myself as I got off of bed with my hands on my head, pulling my own hair. I didn't even have it in me to look at Sky.

I just made her sin and gave her a heavy burden.

So I kept my distance from her as my head spun from the stupid thing I just did. After a few minutes, as I got the courage to look at her, I can't tell what she's actually feeling. She's curling up in bed and I saw confusion in her eyes as she stared into nowhere and I'm not sure that's good.

She was about to open her mouth but I cut her off.

"Please don't say anything. Grab your things when you're ready, I'll just wait for you in the car. Let's go back."
