Unexpectedly (completed)

Part 20

Susheela screamed getting unable to push out the baby anymore. She cried hard getting tired of the pain.
The doctor asked her to try again. A nurse was standing next to her wiping her tears and sweat over her face. She breathed heavily and closed her eyes. Just thinking about the baby and Pramod. She wanted to give him this child. She tried her best and screamed out of the pain again and again. In a few minutes she gave birth to the baby. She closed her eyes and fell on the bed. Lastly she heard the baby crying.
The doctor came and patted her cheeks. She opened her eyes.

Doctor - look at the baby... Dekho use.

She rolled her teary eyes and found him. Still crying. She bitted her lips holding her cries.

Doctor - congratulations... It's a boy.

She cried to it and closed her eyes again. Thanking God and there she fell unconscious.

A few moments later.

She gained her consciousness. She found Malti sitting next to her. Puttu looking at the newborn.

Susheela - nani....

Malti - ha beta..

Susheela - vo.... Pramod ka bataya aapne?

Malti - ha.. Phone to kiya tha magar switched off aa raha tha..

Susheela - oh... Vo kaisa hai... Theek hai na?

Malti - ha vo bilkul theek hai... Tu dekhegi?

She nodded and first Malti helped her to sit comfortably.

Malti - Puttu hat waha se...

Puttu - nani bas 2 minute aur ruk jao ye smile kar raha tha...

Malti - pehle Susheela ko dekhne to de..

He gets aside and she picked the newborn into her arm taking him to Susheela.
She took him into her arms with smile and looked at him. She hugged the baby slowly placing his head near her chest.

Malti - iska poora chehra Pramod par hi gaya hai...

Susheela nodded and brought him closer to kiss him forehead.

Her tears fell on her cheek but she quickly wiped them.

Malti caress her face and kissed her forehead.

Malti - tum dono ki nazar bhi utarni hai mughe...

Susheela smiled looked at baby. His eyes were so small and he was looking at her face. Blinking again and again and smiled to her.

She thought of Pramod as she wanted to tell him this. That he had became a father now.

On the other side.

Pramod was fallen some where along with some other soldiers of his battalion . He opened his eyes slowly coughing the blood out of his mouth. The bomb blast that just happened a few minutes back has injured many of them. He looked around finding all of them, they were still suffering to survive. He founded some blood running from his nose. He touched on his face and found his nose bleeding very badly. It was dripping down very fast. He fortunately found a sleeping bag near him and he covered his face into it to stop the bleeding. Yet it didn't stopped. The blood was filling inside the cloth fastly. He avoided that wiping the blood and went towards his partner.

He patted his back and made him turn. He was looking only left to be Dead. Pramod felt someone near him, he held his gun, turned and started attacking nonstop. Fortunately he saved himself to be attacked. He alone survived the moment killing the enemies coming ahead to kill them all and some of his partners got conscious and started to fight back against them.
