Three days have passed since the battle of Mission City, and the Autobots have chosen to stay on Earth. In Washington DC, Secretary Keller hosts a meeting with several military generals and senators to discuss the orders the President ordered amid the aftermath of the battle.

Keller: "Gentlemen, the President has ordered Sector Seven... to be terminated." He addressed to them. "And the remains of the dead aliens - disposed of. The Laurentian Abyss is seven miles below sea level, deepest place on our planet. The massive depth and pressure there, coupled with sub-freezing temperatures, would crush and entomb them..." He leaned forward and clasped his hands together. "Leaving no evidence." He concluded with a stern expression.

True to his word, several Navy vessels carry the remains of Blackout, Brawl, Bonecrusher, and Megatron into the sea. They have to use scrap torches to amputate and decapitate the dead Decepticons to make it easier for the helicopters to drop them in the ocean, instead of carrying their entire bodies.
Two Sikorsky SH-60 helicopters latch two ropes on Megatron's body, and they carry the huge chunk of metal above the ocean, with his left arm and right leg amputated. Soon, they detach the ropes and drop Megatron into the cold waters below, never to be seen again.
