Highschool

Mia's point of view

He we are. Freshman year. I only have a few classes with Nathan but I make the most out of them all. We hold our hands through the hallways and at lunch he wraps his arm around me. Life is just perfect, all the time. The days that I don't have lunch with Nathan I sit with Alex.

Today was one of those days. A few boys came up to me ask asked for my number, but I of course said no. My next class was biology, which I have with him. I ate my pizza slice just waiting for class to start, just to see his face again.

Class begins*

I walk in and see my favorite pair of eyes looking at me. His smile was wide and I felt my cheeks ride with his. I walked next to him immediately and he puckered his lips, as if he was kissing me from afar. I sat down and the teacher began his lesson.

The class was silent and I peered over at Nathan's paper. He was drawing heart, hearts with my name inside of them. I tapped him leg and his eyes shot up to me as he covered his paper. I laughed and did he with a nervous feeling. I thought to myself, how can I talk to him if the class is so silent.

I quickly tore off a piece of my loose leaf paper and wrote on it "I'm so boredddd!!"

I passed it to him and he looked up at me and pulled out a pencil from his backpack. He started writing heavily, covering the paper with his free hand. I held in my laugher and suddenly he "dropped" his pencil. As his went he put the note on my thigh and grabbed onto it while he was pushin himself up to sit correctly.

I unfolded the notes and he wrote, "at least you're here with me:)".

I looked back and him and saw the smile on his face, look at the teacher as if he was trying not to laugh. I flipped the scrap and and quickly scribbled "awwww you're so perfect." I gave it to him as soon as the teacher turned around.

Nathan's point of view

I grabbed the note that mia gave me. I felt my cheeks flush red. I was hesitant at first but I grabbed my own and wrote "I love you" I was about to give it to her, it would be our first time telling each other that we love each other in person. I tried giving her the notes but the teacher approached us.

"If I catch you passing notes again you are receiving a detention. Am I clear?!?" She said as she ripped apart the paper. At least she didn't read it I guess.

We were silent mostly for the rest of the class. Just our usual glances and smiles. The bell rang and we had to separate ways again. I followed her quickly out and wrapped my arms around her. I wanted to tell her that I loved her, but I couldn't help but be shy around her. She is just so perfect.

I finally let out a soft whisper into her ear. "I love you Mia."

It was silent for about 5 seconds that we stared into each other's eyes for. She kissed my cheek and told me "I've been loving you Nathan."

I love her so much. I let go of our hug since we had to go to class.
