You walk into the laboratory where your friend recently went missing, you searched some rooms and corridors but nothing was to be found expect some mintish white goo puddles trailing off into the area surrounding a garden encased in a glass container. You looked around confused on where your friend could've went before it went dark. You spun around in panic and confusion, you started to search for a light source. Which was harder than expected. You grunt in annoyance until something caught your eye, a pair of goggles sat in an examination room. You felt like a sense of hope and started to walk towards it as if it was trying to lure you, as you finally got close to the googles it glowed a magenta and had 3 eyes. Without a thinking you put on the googles, it was a perfect fit but started to tighten until you couldn't take it off. As you adjusted to wearing the googles your vision adjusted to a magenta tint which sort of helped you get around, it was almost like nightvison. You continued to search until you felt something click inside of yourself and rage flickered through you. Almost after that happened you were blinded by something as you were paralyzed without a known cause. You felt a gooey substance flood from the googles onto your body encasing you in a latex, you only felt more anger in response. After which you "Blacked out".  You woke up with a aching pain in your head as you got up. You felt like you haven't been awake in hours and the rage still remained. You heard a small beep and you turned around and hissed. It was one of those protogens? You couldn't help but just skitter away despite wanting to take your anger out on everything you saw. A light flashed infront of you activating something feeling like adrenaline and started to run into the darkness.

"... but I was your friend?"
