The Avengers react to Natasha.

Safe house

(The name 'Venna' means butterfly and is of Greek origin.)

"So Venna what's next?" asked Tony. "The safe house" she said.

Maria Hill: Well for now I'd stay in stealth mode, and stay away from here.

"Ooh what happened?" Yelena asked like a curious small child. "Wanda and her brother" said Natasha blandly.

Tony Stark: So, run and hide?

"Yes" said Venna.

Maria Hill: Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer. Barton's got a safe house though why he's taking you there I'll never know.

"She knew, didn't she?" Tony asked Natasha and Clint both of whom nodded.

Tony Stark: Neither do we. [he ends the call and switches off the monitor; to Barton, who's flying the Quinjet] Hey, you wanna switch out?

Clint Barton: No, I'm good. If you wanna get some kip, now's a good time, cause we're still a few hours out.

Tony Stark: A few hours from where?

Clint Barton: A safe house.

[The Quinjet lands outside a large farmhouse and they all walk towards the house]

"It looks peaceful" hummed Melina

Thor: What is this place?

Tony Stark: A safe house?

Clint Barton: Let's hope. [they all enter the house] Laura? I'm home.

[Barton's sister, Laura, walks in from the kitchen]

Clint Barton: Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead.

Laura Barton: Hey.

Tony Stark: [Laura hugs Barton; to Thor] This is an agent of some kind.

"Well you're not wrong" shrugged Natasha.

Clint Barton: [introducing his sister to the team] Gentleman, this is Laura.

Laura Barton: I know all your names.

[They all look at her awkwardly]

"you guys were so awkward" chuckled Natasha.

Clint Barton: Ooh, incoming. 

[Barton's niece and nephew, Cooper and Lila, run in]

Lila Barton: Uncle Clint!

[Barton picks up his niece]

"She's so cute" cooed Wanda.

Clint Barton: Hi, sweetheart! [kissing the top of his son's head] Hey, buddy! How you guys doing? Ooh...

Tony Stark: [to the others as they watch with surprise] These are...smaller agents.

Everyone chuckles at that.

Clint Barton: Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!

Lila Barton: Did you bring Auntie Nat?

Yelena, Alexei and Melina do a double take at that.

Natasha Romanoff: Why don't you hug her and find out?

[Lila rushes towards Natasha, who picks her up in her arms, the Avengers do double takes at that when someone else walks in.]

Venna Barton: Aunt Laura, there's cat hair all over the...

[Venna trailed off, seeing her parents.]

Venna Barton: Really?

Laura Barton: That's what you get for wearing earphone is both ears.

"You took such offence to that" said Natasha sarcastically.

Venna Barton: (sarcasm) I'm offended now.

People snort at that.

Tony Stark: Red I'm gonna take a guess here and say Barton's daughter is your doppelganger.

"Close but not right." said Venna

Venna Barton/Natasha Romanoff: Close enough for me.

"That's creepy" said Wanda.

Bruce Banner: (exasperated) Oh my God Tony, Barton's daughter is Romanoff's daughter also.

"But, the, what, huh" Yelena spluttered out.

[Tony looked from Natasha to Clint to Venna and back again three times.]

Tony Stark: (dryly) Really?

Yelena snorts at the dryness of his tone.

Venna Barton: What can I say, they're good at keep secrets.

Clint Barton: Well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off SHIELD's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low.

Venna Barton: Pirate's good like that.

Natasha Romanoff: (Russian) Don't let him hear you say that.

Venna Barton: (Russian) Never. (English) I'm gonna find that cat now.

"You know you're good at getting out of conversations, cause that cat was sitting on the couch" said Natasha. "All part of the charm" said Venna.

Tony Stark: (under his breath) Course she knows Russian.

People snort at that.

Venna Barton: (Russian) Stark, when I want you to voice what you think I'll tell it to you.

[Natasha and Clint snort at that before following their daughter.]

"So that's what you said" said Tony. Venna nodded.
