1. The Mimic
The mimic is a really popular horror game. The game was created by MUCDICH and released on January 15th 2021. It is one of the most successful Roblox horror games out there. The game has a total of four books, which are Rebirth, Jealously, Rage and Control, each of them with their own protagonist and antagonist. The game is inspired by Japanese storylines and Japanese urban legend, not to mention, Japanese urban legends are the scariest! In the first book (Control), you go back to your own high school (AT NIGHT LIKE WHO THO HELL WOULD DO THAT) to find your missing group of friends. The scary thing is that there is an entity in the school, lurking. Now you might wonder who the entity is, her name is Hiachi (非阿智) she is probably gonna be the first mimic monster you'll ever encounter. She is actually pretty scary asf but she is not gonna be the only entity you'll meet at book 1. There will be many more as soon as you dive deeper into the world. Not to mention but there is someone behind all of this, controlling the monsters including Hiachi, her name is Sama (FUN FACT, 'sama' (さま) is used after someone's name to show respect to individuals who are higher ranking than you in Japan) and she controls people that are cursed by her. And how are people cursed by her? Well she tricks people, falling into her curse. HOWEVER, yOu aRe ApPrAnTlY SpEcIaL and has managed to overcome the curse (of course you did, you're the main character after all). Moments later, you soon find yourself travel in her twisted realm and explore the mystery.

2. Dead Silence
Dead Silence was created by DoomX10 and released on January 26th 2011 (damn that's pretty old), despite being one of the oldest horror Roblox games, it still has a great scare. The story of Dead Silence is based on James Wan's 2007 film which is also named Dead Silence. Just like in the movie, you must investigate the disappearance of Mary Shaw. The game has a lot of sounds that you must focus on or just scare the absolute shit out of you. Dead Silence is a puzzle game where you must explore different rooms to find keys but the key locations are procedurally generated, so every playthrough is different.

3. Geisha
Geisha was created by a group called Serati Studios and released on July 11th 2021. You wake up stranded in a forest, your family is lost and you're wondering where they are. You look everywhere to find them but as soon as you enter an mysterious house, you feel like something is wrong. The journey finding your family is leading to many possessed spirits that are lost and trying to get rid of you. There will be many things you must find including rigged jumpscares that somehow can scare you. Everywhere is this game is realistic style but not the most realistic. Let's talk about a antagonist 'Yuki Onna'. She is the antagonist of Chapter two part three and is the final boss of Chapter two. She can also be seen in Chapter one part two after you go to the snowy place in the end. (Fun fact: some people call her the 'Else wannabe' i giggled at that lmao) She is very aggressive yet powerful, she can kill you with just three attacks when you go to her arena. Shooting ice from afar, using the staff to lift blocks of ice from the ground, and finally rushing towards you, but luckily you can dodge that. Why is Yuki Onna like this? Well because (BACKSTORY TIME) it's because of her backstory. She once was a very beautiful Geisha, respected by people but yet betrayed by her own kin. Then she was left to freeze by those who she trusted a lot. Once her body was frozen, her soul turned into darkness, gathering all the evil that exists using those to seek revenge. Her mind is entirely set on revenge.

4. Let's Run!
This one is not a quite popular one but worth playing! Created by a group called IDSTUDIOS and released on August 19th 2023. This one is particularly an odd one out, not like most horror games because this one is instead an obby! It is also said to be the weirdest obby on Roblox. In this game, you are stuck in prison but there are going to be times where you will think if this is actually an prison. Your whole goal is to escape the prison but it will not be easy. You see, there are a lot of weird monsters inside the prison, lurking around. Not to even mention but there are weird stages that feels like this isn't a prison. For example a stage with brains, you don't often see them in prisons don't ya? For some of youse, you have to complete puzzles, but for the others, you have to run away from monsters that tries to kill you. Never underestimate any obstacles, because there will always be an odd feeling with them.

5. Faithless
Created by Society of Dark Mysterious and released on July 20th 2023. "In some religions, an exorcist is a person believed to be able to perform the ridding of demons, ghosts or other supernatural beings who are alleged to have possessed someone or something." This game is an opportunity for you to play in an old- Roblox themed horror. In this game you are an exorcist, your goal is to exorcise a person named Billy who is possessed by using your crucifix. Beware of creepy events that you get to try, there are many and they're great fun full of mysteries.

6. A Stereotypical Obby
As you can tell from the title, this game is also an obby. This might not be scary but it's worth trying! It gives out an uneasy vibe. It begins with a normal difficulty chart. Difficulty charts are Robloox obbies that stages harder as you continue to proceed on, starting from easy and making your way to the hardest stages. In this game it's like that, but be aware as you continue to proceed. Even though it might look easy and effortless at the beginning, never underestimate it. Things begin to change once you reach the normal stage, things even get more crazier if you continue on. Once you're on the normal stage, the sky turns dark and you can already feel the atmosphere change. Once you get on the difficult stage, things get more uneasy, the stages are still beatable but many crazy things will start to happen. Everything around you is dark and your body starts twitching, even worse, your screen starts to static and shake. Things become even worser once you reach the extreme stage, you are definitely not ready to experience it but your instincts tells you to continue on. This game is pretty unique as it contains certain images that could cause seizures. Not your ordinary obby.

7. Short Creepy stories (Deadly Content)
This game was created by kharbor_ykt and released on December 31th 2021 to prove that Roblox horror games can be scary. This game will have short SCARY stories that will apparently scare you. As the title says, the game is deadly content. Let me tell you about one of the chapters! In one of the chapters you are a YouTuber who is ready to leave a hotel that you were living in, however you come across an abandoned hospital where you are able to film creepy stuff with your camera. Your goal is to escape the hospital but there is a catch, there are monsters in the hospital trying to kill you. So much for a short story!

Created by Phantom Archive, released on August 13th 2021. This game follows on a disappearance of a HollyWood star named Judy. How it all started is that you and your friends investigates an old theme park from the 70s that's abandoned, soon it leads into chaos as you dive deeper into Judy's past. It is your duty to save Judy from evil and stop Linda which is an antagonist. There are ten forms of Judy, Spider, deformed, centipede, skinny, shadow, chained water, crawling slug, Judy's creature and Hydra Judy. This game is very doll like and has an horror atmosphere.
