(It was a beautiful day on the island of Sodor and everyone was hard at work. The steam team was at knapford station discussing their new songs until they heard a voice they had never heard before)
???: Excuse me? do you know where knapford is?
(The voice sounds high but small)
JAMES: but this is knapford. where are you from?
???:im from the mainland
EMILY: So you the new engine sir Topham's talking about
???: yep that's me*chluckles nervosly*
(When the engines looked at her they couldn't believe their eyes. The new engine was an E2 just like Thomas and was painted Rosie pink with red lining)
???:uuuuuuhhhhh. What's the matter?
THOMAS: Oh nothing it's just that you look like me!
???: Oh really? I never notic*giggled*
(The engines were shocked but Henry broke the silence)
HENRY: Yes but the question is. what is your name?
???: Oh! my name Mellisa
THOMAS: Nice to meet you, Mellisa
MELLISA: Oh I know you guys. You the steam team. your famous
JAMES: Oh yeah we are famous
EMILY: Oh James
(Just then they heard cooing)
EMILY: What was that!?
MELLISA: Oh! That's my new baby brother Doug
PERCY: baby brother?
MELLISA: he was just built
THOMAS: Well where is he?
MELLISA: He behind me
EDWARD: Can I ask? when was he built?
MELLISA: Just last week
JAMES: When were you built?
(Mellisa's cheeks went red)
MELLISA:oh me?*chuckles nervosly*im only a decade old
(The engine was shocked)
GORDON: You're only ten years old!?
MELLISA: Yeah. im ten
PERCY: Wow. We never had an engine that young before
MELLISA: Well now you do
(Just then sir topham hatt arrived)
STH: Ah I see all of you met Mellisa and her baby brother Doug
GORDON: Yes sir but. Mellisa and Doug are a bit too young
STH: Gordon I know they are but they are useful. And speaking of really useful, all of you must start your jobs and Edward one of your jobs is showing them the ropes
THE STEAM TEAM: Yes sir
(Then the engines went along with their jobs. after a day's work, the engines went to Tidmouth sheds then they took a good look at Doug. he was also an E2 but he was lime green red lining and the steam team was giving them a sneak peak of their new song)
THOMAS: When the nights here
EDWARD: I don't do tears
HENRY: Don't give a Damm
GORDON: I could dance
JAMES: I could dance
PERCY: I could dance
EMILY: Watch me
THE STEAM TEAM: Dance. dance the night away. life could be burnin' but you'll see it on my face
MELLISA: Oh that song will be so much fun
THOMAS: Oh it will
EMILY: I made it up when I was taking a passenger train
MELLISA: And Doug and I will listen to it all day long. won't we Doug?
(Doug giggled but started crying all of a sudden)
JAMES: What's the matter with him?
MELLISA: I don't know
MELLISA'S DRIVER: I think I see his pad leaking. It looks like he needs a pad change
MELLISA: Oh alright. it's nice to meet all of you but I have some big sister things to attend to
THOMAS: Well it's nice to meet you too
(Then Mellisa blew her whistle and went away. that night the engines only talked about Mellisa and Doug)
HENRY: Mellisa is a nice engine
GORDON: Yes but a bit young
THOMAS: Yeah but she's in the same class as me!
PERCY: Yeah not to mention her brother
EMILY: He is so cute
EDWARD: But too young
GORDON: I agree with Edward
EMILY :*scoff* You're just saying that because you do not know how to take care of baby engines!
HENRY: Yes we do! We looked after Thomas and Percy when they were babies
EMILY: As if! im going to go to bed
(Then she backed up in her birth. James was worried. he and Emily had been dating for a while and he was worried about his girlfriend. Without looking, Desiel was lurking around the sheds)
DEISEL:baby engines eh? I have to tell Desiel 10 about this
(Then he rolled to the diesel works)
