It was my first day in my new school since the Corona virus.
Walking into my grade 11 class not knowing anyone feels awkward.
Upon approaching an empty seat two boys walk up to me.
"Mamz wahmu uh look suh shy" the one that has a stout built said in a welcoming voice.
"Lowe har now uh nuh see she look like she nuh like uh"the one that's slim and tall says while laughing.
I took a seat and smile at them saying "I'm juss nervous because I don't knw anyone as at"
They said that its understandably and told me their names.
The slim tall one is Malique and the stout one is Nando.
I smiled at them and said "it's nice to meet you both, I'm Aricalianna..but u can call me Ari".
Me and them sat for a while and they explained a few things about the school to me and told me that I look beautiful and my uniform fits me perfectly.

A few conversations with the boys nd I learnt that our form teacher wasn't coming in today.
Me and the guys were so engrossed in our conversation when we heard alot of commotion so I looked up.
What I saw knocked the wind right out of me. It was a guy who looks to be around 6ft tall. His face features are nothing short of handsome he is light skin and has brown eyes that show little to no emotion and for his age he has a lot of facial hair, and he has a sharp fade. He has a slim built with his multi-color jansport bag on his back and his school pants sagging a little under his waist. After fully checking him out I look up to see him making his way over to us.
The guys beside me got up and they did a bro hug then he turned his attention to me and I looked away.
He chuckled under his breath and said "mumma a how ya look pon mi suh"
'Bombo him voice deep eh' I thought to myself.
But hear how this bwoy a talk to mi like mi do him summu
"Mi curious suh mi juss a look a wahmu?" I asked him with a little attitude.
Malique and Nando started laughing and their friend shook his head.
"Look how mamz did a gwan shy but she feisty" Nando says while him and Malique laugh.
"Demetri a fuss smaddy talk to uh suh eno" Nando continues.
So that's his name.........hmm interesting
"Soon sort har out man" Demetri says with a glint of mischief in his eyes as he sat on my table top
"Mi look like jig-saw puzzle ya tlk bout sort mi out" I said with a hiss
"And take up uh batty off a mi table."I said and rolled my eyes
"Uh want a reason fi roll dem" he said while making eye contact
Holding the intense eye contact with him makes heat rise to my cheeks and I look away not wanting him to notice but I was too slow so he noticed and started chuckling and I felt embarrassed.
I hissed and said "dat nah guh happen" and he smirked.
