"Run", he said "RUN."
(3 days before)
"Sky" my mom said, we were in the hospital again, she has stage 4 heart cancer. This was the 3rd time this month we. I guess we have became regulars. I looked down at her she was pale, and connected to all sorts of machines. "Take this, you will be safe there," she then handed me a piece of paper. "Mom what do you mean!?" I said looking at her brown eyes. Then one of the monitors went flat. I pressed the call button saying we needed help. I was crying. This time was different than the last she seemed almost ghostly. When the nurse came she shouted "CODE BLUE I REPEAT CODE BLUE" then nurses and doctors flooded in. I don't remember much after thatThen a nurse named will according to his name tag, he had fluffy blond hair and blue eyes. He said "sweetie come follow me." "What about my mom will she ok," I said probably barley audible. "We are trying to help," he said.
He then led me to the waiting room at the hospital and sat with me. He then told me the worst news of my life. "Honey your mom didn't make it." Wait what do you mean, she's dead!?" I said crying more than I ever have. She was my only family besides my father who I haven't met.
"I'm afraid so," he said it looked like he was about to cry too. "Im gonna give you some time alone to process this," I looked out side it was raining. It felt like the whole world was crying at that moment. I opened the paper and it had a address. I then ran outside the rain soaking my black hair, and baggy jeans along with my t shirt.
I will find this place I said to myself if it's the last thing I do. It was her last wish to me.
(This is my first story so please bare with me!)
