Two months passed, and during this time, Alisa's health improved significantly. Her body healed gradually, and she began to regain her strength. She grew closer to Aether and started to trust him more. While Aether was occupied with his own tasks, Alisa found companionship in spending time with Qiqi. They would engage in different activities like reading stories or simply enjoying each other's company by the fish pond.
One day, before Aether set off on his next adventure to Sumeru, he paid a visit to Alisa at Bubu Pharmacy.
"Hey, Alisa. How are you feeling?" Aether inquired.
"I'm doing much better. Baizhu mentioned that I might be able to walk without crutches soon," Alisa replied with a cheerful smile.
"Alisa, I'm about to leave for Sumeru, but before I go, there's something important I need to tell you," Aether said as he took a seat.
Curious, Alisa looked at him, wondering if this might finally reveal the truth about her parents or shed light on what happened with Ajax after that fateful day.
"I met Childe, and he asked me to give you this," Aether explained, handing Alisa a small box.
Inside the box was a simple silver ring and a card that read, "I'm sorry for what I did. I will protect you. Love, Ajax."
Alisa felt a mix of emotions as she looked at the ring, and tears welled up in her eyes. Aether gently held her hand, and Paimon hovered nearby.
"Ajax also shared a secret with me. He felt that you should know the truth," Aether continued, his gaze focused on Alisa.
And so, as the sun began to set, Aether shared the story of Ajax's journey.
