I wasn't far but my legs were a little sore from my walk in the woods because I had gone far out. I was getting close to the house I saw people outside of it some cop with a girl about my age maybe older I run over and before I could ask what was wrong I was stopped my mom raping me up in a big hug
" don't ever do that again you scared me so bad " my mom said her arms still rapped around me
" I'm okay but where's Nik " I say pulling away

" he was worried sick he was the one who called the police then he started tearing and went up to his room to hide it "

When I walked over to the police I realize the girl isn't there anymore and the old truck wasn't as well she must've driven off in it

I give him a nod and head inside planing to call the person who helped me Sam or something that I got home and unpack a little
" HEY MOM " I yell out from the main floor " WHERES THE HOUSE PHONE "
" IN THE KITCHEN " she yells back

I head to the kitchen and go to call Sam or was it Seth but then I remember that I didn't get his phone I just gave him mine I promised I would call when I get back but I didn't even get the number to call . I face palmed at my stupidity oh well might was well unpack then

As I ran home I couldn't stop thinking about her sure she was dumb for going in the forest alone but she was also pretty sweet and funny when I got home I practically ran home hoping I wouldn't miss her call
" HEY LEAH DID ANYONE CALL "
" FOR YOU " I heard her loud laugh " WHY WOULD SOMEBODY CALL FOR YOU " she yells back
" HA HA HA BUT FOR REAL " I said with sarcasm
" NOPE NOBODY CALLED "
" KAY THANKS "
I stayed in the living room till my dad and mom were back I wasn't to sure where they went to be honest then I got forced to my room but even there I stayed up till she call so I ended up pulling an all night
(Maybe she didn't get home safe) I thought to myself ( no she's safe she probably just forgot to call or maybe she-)
" SETH IM LEAVING " my mom yells
